Someone posted a bunch of fairly cute girls in the rate-me forum. If the 0 - 10 scale has to cover all the females around you.. they'd be in the upper 10% just based on their age, not fat, not depressed looking, and thus 10s. Naturally the kinds of dicks who hang out there need to show they have high standards.. even though they've resorted to frequenting a site for men who have been burned by the already retarded and desperate pickup community.

I think they rated these chicks like 5s or some shit like that. I think giant muscle guys are sort of a male aspiration and a niche taste some women have like long hair or tattoos or whatever... yeah.
But most of the guys you mentioned probably are a lot more buff than you get a feel for onscreen, plus you could say the same stuff about the hugh jackman wolverine.. I think he has general appeal to women and he's pretty hypermasculine. Personally I feel like I get the most attention when I've been hitting the weights a lot, I'm not exactly huge though. If I make myself too pretty girls just start saying I'm gay or too young and that doesn't get me anywhere.

Maybe you could take a picture of the guy at a real nice angle and find a few girls who think he's hot, but even that doesn't mean much. If they saw that guy walk by (assuming they were looking down) they would think "that's a short ass guy."

However, reverse the scenario and take an average looking guy, dress him in intense fashion, and have a hoard of people follow him around taking pictures. I know a lot of girls will end up finding him attractive.

I have to disagree here. I think this idea veers way too close to the "incel" or "mra" fallback of "It's not that I'm awful on several levels, it's because women are ruled by evolution, biology, chemicals, instinct, whatever and thus the deck is stacked against me and therefor all women are subhuman and must be regulated so I can get what I want, a supermodel who waits on me like my mom, fucks like a pornstar, raises babies like june cleaver and is a doormat the rest of the time.
Sure biology and instinct play a role, but what humans (INCLUDING WOMEN) are attracted to in other humans runs all over, it's not just about the biological impetus of reproduction. Being a childfree by choice, grown ass woman who has been on and off birth control all my post puberty life, i can say that what i find attractive runs the gamut on any given day, no matter where i am on my reproductive cycle. Indeed. I poked around the site and browsed the "Rate Me" section for a bit longer thinking that it would be the least delusional portion of the forums that wouldn't dive too far into the whole PUA part.

If you have a look on the ratings thread, you can see that most of them are actually fairly handsome already.

There's a funny thread where a guy asks to be rated, and he looks about as close to movie star/model level as anyone you're likely to meet. Some guy recommends him like 4 different plastic surgeries.

This is what helped me dismiss a lot of the ratings and see through the bs. They are blaming physical attraction because it's an outside factor they can't control for the most part (minus the extreme resolution of surgery part). While sometimes I find myself gravitating towards types, the range of what is attractive to me is pretty wide. Personality also plays a huge role in attractiveness to me. But even if we were to explain this shit to these guys in excruciating detail, they still wouldn't listen and would try to find hidden meanings in what we're saying.
