Skitzocow Smiley / Fringe Wizard (Kenneth Schueler) and Fringechan - Insane Suicidal Internet Magician, Spammed /cow/, Banned from Wizchan At Least 12 Times

Yo, hello.
There's a lot of disinformation regarding fringe, fringechan, smiley and the fringe imageboard culture. The staff of fringechan monitors this thread and we together decided to reach out to you as well as leave a positive mark on the web about our own website, other than rumors and hearsay that we've watched appear online. I'm here to explain some misconceptions and perhaps answer a few questions if people are interested.

Who am I?
I'm known as Mossa on the fringechan website and the IRC channel. My associated email is mossa at fringechan.org and you can send me a message if you want to verify this post. Together with Alpam, we work on the server and content and we work as global volunteers (moderators) on the website.

Origin of Fringe:
The idea of a fringe community started before freedomboard, but it wasn't made into something concrete until that website was up and running under smiley's command. I had known that freedomboard existed but not fully lurked it before 2015 and I was also aware about the cult of smiley and his /illuminati/ board that only his select inner circle had access to. During #GamerGate I migrated with many disappointed people to 8chan on which I eventually learned about /fringe/ and Smiley.

Contrary to popular belief: Smiley did not create, trademark, copyright or had anything to do with the creation of fringe as a community, other than stealing it's name from the original website/community that were before 2013 which there is no trace off today. For many months, his community was just simply a Skype group with 40 people that would sit and talk about Smiley's problems, girlfriend, spells and magick. Some people I've spoken to said that the Skype group was and is a safe space for Smiley's problems.

How fringechan.org was created:
Very late in 2015, I created an IRC channel called ##fringe on freenode and I've maintained it with 2 other OPs since then. We managed to get a web admin in the chat and eventually decided to pursue with our own fringechan website. At roughly the same time period, 8chan was heading down the shitter because of Hotwheelz selling out to the freemason that has ties with companies that work with data mining of users and info, also Josh the coder jumped ship and started complaining everywhere on 16ch.

This opened up opportunity for our website and we grandfather'd Smiley as an admin into the website. But it was a great deal of drama for us to get Smiley on board because he accused the staff of the new website to steal his concept, trademark and userbase; and started sperging out in threads like this one: http://archive.is/rlYxa (archive of server cache, so no images). We asked Smiley to nicely confirm his identity on the IRC channel and upon joining he immediately demanded SSH admin privileges before even confirming who he was. Because of this he wrote in the thread that we were stealing his website and that we were refusing to give him admin access, which was blatant lies.

Smiley's inactivity lead to his dismissal:
After enough drama, he was given admin panel access (which is second to top most clearance) of the website and he promised he would start working on the CSS theme and template to make it more "fringe". That was back in January, February; and so we awaited his work on the CSS, importing and changing it to look better. But for 5-6 months straight, he didn't even log in with his admin account nor made any changes to the CSS. We the staff decided to dismiss his admin rights based on the risk of him destroying the website in one of his attacks.

Smiley gets all his stuff deleted:
During the two first quarters of 2016, a user by the name of TheProtagonist who was at the time, a volunteer on 8ch.net/fringe/, manages to claim all of Smiley's blog boards like /edgy/, /ask/ and /4chon/ all at the same time. Protagonist Manages to delete all threads and posts by hand, manually starting with the oldest first so that it wasn't noticed until the most recent posts were deleted (masterfully planned). At this point, the staff decided that it would be best to not give Smiley admin access again because of the risk of him adopting a volunteer that could delete most of the website (but we do server backups weekly of course).

Clarifications:
Smiley or Smileyberg is the name of the Canadian armchair magician.
fringe is the name of the community and not a person.
Fringechan is the website.

Yes. Why do you think any of your "outreach" is going to work here? Nobody who comes here who has a thread like you do ever manages to change our minds about them and just makes them look worse.

And Smiley may not be your chan as a whole, but your chan holds a lot of crazy views similar to Smiley's, so please spare us the apologia.

I did not create this thread, it was already here. You people like drama but you're not quick with facts over rumors; my post served those that want to know and for the future generations of people that want to know what happened. I'm not here to change your minds, just fill it with some more stuff. Not once did I ask you to come to our site or try to recruit you.

If all goes well this thread sinks beyond "page 15" and we all live to see another day. And what is the world without crazy views? Just a world.
