The chase scene for the allan episode was very impressive for being purely united states based animators. You usually only get that quality when you put a jap in control or outsource to the koreans like the boondocks did. Tartakovsy is the only recent western animator I can name who would be able to do the same.
James Baxter is usually the guy they call for shots that complex.

Pretty good episode, a step up from the last one for sure. And I was really expecting the Bigfoot to do the "Red Pill or Blue Pill" bit. I need to stop expecting OneyPlays references in every episode, Zach clearly isn't interested in doing that. I also hope we get a Glep episode this season, guy manages to do almost less than Allan.

They couldn't show what Glep does offscreen on television.

I think that's fine, SF needs to (and has been) establishing its ground as a show. Eventually, we will get an episode that dips its toes into the OP lore. But that needs to be earned first.

Its alright. Its not bad in a vacuum but Its probably one of the worse episodes of both seasons. Pacing felt off and there was little dialogue which is what the show is best at.

edit: out of curiocity which episodes would you rank lower than this if you disagree

It's hard for me to rank Smiling Friends episodes, as eacho one is so... unique that it's tough to compare them in any meaningful way, but I enjored this episode, and I'd rank it higher than the Brazil fakeout episode, Frowning Friends and maaaybe the Shrimpina one, but even at that they're all still fun to watch!

Honestly Smiling Friends have consistently good episodes. The weakest episode to me is really the Enchanted Forest, but even that has some funny moments.

I know, I don't go into each episode expecting it full of OneyPlays references, but when I saw that Bigfoot that bit jumped into my head.

Damn, didn't even notice that.

I don't know how they're going to top the Alan episode. Easily the best of the series so far.

Gee, all you guys seems to really love this episode, i watched it once, one joke had me rolling on the floor but otherwise... eh.... i guess i'll have to rewatch it and see if i'm not mistaken. liked it well enough but 1 & 2 episodes were better IMO

"Oh, and i'm not a flashback, i died the moment you left the store!"

It's weird, nobody's gonna talk about DJ Spit's appearance in the episode?

I've always wondered if there was enough material for a CW thread on reaction channels.
like a decade ago, maybe... that was around the time where big channels like Pewdiepie and KSI, along with (at the time) not so big ones like IHE and GradeAUnderA were calling them out on their bullshit... specifically Jynx and his brother CJ.

Now though? I haven't kept up with that but if no one is making a big stink out of it, it must mean no one really gives a shit anymore.

I'm excited for the alien episode. I have high hopes for that one.

It's because he didn't steal the episode with his appearance. He was great and funny here, but in Frowning Friends he cemented that episode as a great one. This episodes whacky hijinks outshines him.

Not anymore. The dregs that push this are all under like 2k subs and for some reason still clinging to this with a very small fan base. I just don't get people who do this. Thr only caveat I can think of that's acceptable for reaction channels is when a proffesional critiques and reacts to something related to their expertise.

I think Larry Lawton reacted to some crime stuff. Insight like that is great, but when some bozo gives their opinion infront of a camera I just question why they don't value their privacy.

True, and his appearance in that episode wasn't even as memorable as Alan's landlord who ended up being an amazing twist villain

Hey! All he wanted was to maybe hang out and smoke weed and fill their bellies with DIET soda while playing Burnout Revenge on the PS2, is that so wrong?

If he's carrying a bomb and setting up an elaborate plan to not be suffering from loneliness, then sorta
