The fact this episode was meant to be an April Fools episode that had been pushed back really shows. But regardless I did find the episode funny to some extent and it was enjoyable to watch. But it was just okay overall.

I finally watched the episode. I like it, the natural style of dialogue they have for this episode is so good, a breath of fresh air in this Whedonesque era

I liked the dawning realization of "we fucked up, better to cut our losses" through the episode, and running through the five stages of grief. It's a cute subversion of "holiday episode" expectation but having how most people will react.

I really liked how the Brazil episode is pretty realistic in how it handles travel since most shows don't really delve into this. I rewatched it recently which made this dawn on me.

I once had a similar problem on a road trip with my friends when we collectively forgot something important, so what happened in the episode is so realistic, everyone probably would have had something similar happened to them. And the dialogue also heightened that feeling by making it so natural with characters talking over each other with repressed frustation in their voices

Now YOU can draw a funny little creature!
