I'll be honest I think the whole joke about the Game CEO was a pretty old one, feels like a joke that was already over done 6 years ago, let alone now. Not to say it isn't accurate, I just wish they did something a bit more with it than what they did.
Yeah, I see people praising that segment as sticking it to greedy or awful game devs, and they're right, but this sort of joke isn't remotely new or even new whenever this episode was scripted out. Having the CEO openly despise the fans of his games or something would've been a lot more current.

I just realized that the guy who tore off Charlie's nose is the same guy who ordered the cameo from Gwimbly (or its just a coincidence).

Here's the thing, what boils down to is the execution, and the joke itself was more hilarious than the whole redundant concept of "terrible greed." What's funny here isn't what it's about, but how it's delivered

It’s not a matter of old or new, it’s a matter of still plaguing the industry.

His segments were a hit because the industry has somehow gotten greedier since these conversations about things like MTX and Same-day dlc started. His caricature is still relevant. Look at Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Some memes I came across mostly featuring this seasons (so far) favorite character

honestly amazed at this show, it feels like the type of show adult swim made 15+ years ago. even the weird cameos (remember gavin mcinnis on adult swim?) there's a 100% chance if this show was around back in 2010 we'd have gotten that chris chan cameo.

when i'd try to tell people that adult swim shows weren't just made for stupid stoners this is the type of show i'd tell people about instead of having to use moral orel

They played both on OneyPlays, and it was very apparent how much the story/dialogue was pissing him off. If you don’t want to sit through all of it, there some highlight videos.
The five video long Forespoken roasting was my favorite game commentary on this game. Yes, coming in front of Storymode's retelling of the game.

The cold reaction to saying something completely asinine would happen as a joke only for it to literally happen is hard to beat.

Its even funnier when it happens like 8 times throughout both forspoken videos. You gotta feel sorry for the programmers at this point.

I don't think Zach is the kind of guy who would generally give a shit about this current culture war stuff. If anything, he'd mock it as relentlessly as he did with the gaming industry.
Maybe he's changed his views, but he used to post on Twitter about the great replacement theory and other things like that.

gwimblina got me acting unwise
