Fuck the nihilist faggots who watch Rick and Morty tho.I like that the show is ramping up the mean-spirited humor more.
A good fuck you to all the brainlets who saw the ending of Frowning Friends and were like, "Erm, obviously the mission statement of the entire show is to be anti-nihilistic!"
Sheer stubborn stupidity can be incredibly infuriating. It’s a deep cut, but it’s how that girl that made the Sonichu comics audiobooks described trying to talk to Chris-chan about improving his life. “It’s like arguing with a wall.”I've always been somewhat baffled by how furious the flat Earth thing makes people. Obviously it's not true and those that believe in it are stupid, but it just really makes people seethe for some reason despite being such a harmless conspiracy theory.
Also I thought the episode was pretty good, I can sort of see where the Rick and Morty comparison comes from in some bits, but it didn't take anything away in my opinion.
Make it a "X" Posts since Rick and Morty was mentionedlast page we went six posts without mentioning Rick & Morty
i'm making a spreadsheet
Weird simp with no self awareness marries literal demon? The boss marriage episode reminded me of idubbz and I dont know why...
Brittney is way more likable thanWeird simp with no self awareness marries literal demon?
Huh, it stumps me too.
Next ep. seems like a him and Pim adventure, so you might get your wish.Talking of the boss I feel he's less used this season (Obviously outside of the marriage episode) hope he's gonna show up more.
Ultimately, the Flat Earthers are a ridiculous fringe but certain people who consider themselves to be "rationalists" act like fuming at them and arguing with them makes them enlightened heroes of science and rational thought beating back the forces of a modern Dark Age. "Oh my science, don't these people understand we're just a bunch of hairless apes living on a motherfreakin' rock spaceship?!?"Sheer stubborn stupidity can be incredibly infuriating. they don't have the newest one yet but WCO never lets me downAny link for the recent episode?
Hopefully we can get 1 or 2 episodes a season that call back to season 1's premise of making a client smile.
Getting into space and "understanding" everything around it is such a core tenet to people in the west, especially the Boomer and Gen Xers, that having to confront the possibility that even a portion of it could be bullshit sends their brain into a meltdown. I also believe this is especially true if they don't actually have an understanding of anything they are arguing.I've always been somewhat baffled by how furious the flat Earth thing makes people.
The entirety of information about space will be nothing more than trivia for the vast majority of the global population, and while there's a few who can do anything with space science, most of them are just developing better ways to measure and record data or observing things they know only future generations may have a chance of directly touching by hand. When the most you can do with such information is argue or write about science fiction, it probably makes sense to such people to instead invest oneself heavily in being bothered by people who disagree about the shape of the planet. It gives one an enemy to conflict with.Getting into space and "understanding" everything around it is such a core tenet to people in the west, especially the Boomer and Gen Xers, that having to confront the possibility that even a portion of it could be bullshit sends their brain into a meltdown. At least that's the conclusion I've come to after fucking with Boomers about the Moon for the better part of a decade.
