It's the live action nerd who has a friend or whatever that wants the Smiling Friends to help him. But the nerd's basking in his anger over the shitty games he's always playing. Pim and Charlie try to play some to show they're not that bad, but end up as angry as him.

The detail that shows that Zach really knows his ChrisChan lore is that they delayed contacting him about it as much as possible because they knew he would go public with it immediately; that's what saved them the bullet, because by when they decided it was time to contact him, they'd already spent the cameo budget and they would have had to give him a more substantial role to justify it, which they considered "wouldn't be that funny".

Then the thing happened.
 
They couldn't get Chris but if there's any month in which they'll get Bob you bet your butt its in the spookiest one!

And they are all knowledgeable about lolcows, Corey is part of Christory, some of them have said to watch things like Metokur's streams, etc.

They move in our circles, I'm sure they browse, but I wouldn't expect any of them is secretly a regular poster.

And I'm NOT Corey Spazkid.
 
Good episode, but I think it felt somewhat rushed towards the end. I wanted to see Silly Samuel basking in his glory and doing something heinous with his newfound influence. Hope he returns in a background gag as either a running politician or a cult leader.

Also I noticed that a lot of the scenes in the season trailer were from this episode. I will be smiling every Sunday for the next month and a half.
 
Just watched the episode, it was great. Something I noticed:

- Silly Samuel, in his car had a jug with "urinal" taped on it.
- Right before his car blows up, he has a small smile on his face.
- Mr. Boss is dribbling a tennis ball, but the ball is a super realistic render or stock image.
- The building inspector reminds me alot of the paperclip guy, to be fair, Zach is using the same voice.
- The background critters this episode are hilarious. 5:14 into the episode is fucking great.
- I just fuck=ing love how Mr. Boss has a brick up his sleeve.
- In the basement, a box has the covid 19 germ, and inside the box are bat wings.
- You can actually see glep casually walk in, unphased by gravity.
