All this Simpsons talk, but I'm under the impression that neither show's crew had any ill will towards the other, both were just silly little jabs, flanderizing the characters for a laugh.

I really loved this episode! It's definitely a highlight of the season so far, maybe one of the better in the show. I loved how they used DJ Spit's voicelines to make that weird arrhythmic music thing, and the weird claymation/AI hallucination stuff and all the dumb little gags, and of course Squim. I think all the characters were used very well, which I've personally felt has been a problem this season, all the characters had funny moments, but didn't overstay their welcome. If you somehow read this, Great episode boys!
Looks like Smiling Friends is gonna get cancelled, guys...
ermmmmm did the edgy adult cartoon just depict incredibly mild sexual harassment for comedic effect......? (and clearly depict the harasser as a weird ugly freak)
it's 2025 you guys, it's 2025.

edit:
WAIT A FUCKING SECOND
I misinterpreted the post entirely...
Ok so follow me here, this troid really saw two crossdresser cosplayers in a cartoon, one ugly and harassing the other, and saw that as a joke at the expense of trannies. Absolute freudian fucking slip right there, it's a joke about conventions being full of weirdos, not about trannies. They could've just as easily self-inserted as Allan instead of the nasty freak if they wanted to.

I'm amazed that nobody is catching all the alt-right dogwhistles. Charlie buys a painting of The Course Of Empire and people instead take notice of the ugly fat guy in a dress.

The Simpsons jab at Smiling Friends falls short, because it feels like they have never seen a single episode. Most likely, one of the pearl clutching retards, begrudgingly watched a scene from the episode featuring Spamtopia and decided the whole show is like that. Smiling Friends parody has bite, because in such a short time, it managed to highlight all the problems The Simpsons suffers from:

1. It tries to stay relevant in the most embarrassing way possible, like some pathetic guy going through a midlife crisis.
2. It still feels lame, because the basic premise is old and tired.
3. It really needs to cease to exist.

I hope this little parody segment caused a lot of seething and dilating.
4. Lisa being a left wing talking points machine.

(this is not a new thing to point out, but it still needs to be pointed out)

Erm... a man in a dress being sexually creepy, transphobic much?

There's a small joy i feel when people who would hate me if they knew me, are driven away from the things i enjoy, whether the intent was there or not.

That's a lethal dose of autism.

Oh, I thought I interpreted it as a Simpsons could be an AI show. The art style reminded me of those old AI makes Seinfield/spongebob things and early AI gen.

The guy in the end credits sequence isn't explicitly trans, just a fat creep crossdressing at an anime convention. Alan was crossdressing too and afaik he's just gay.

It's a classic troon self report moment for them to be offended by a fat ugly man in a skirt trying to sexually assault someone.

They hate jokes like that they’re so close to home. It’s “I’ve been found out.”

Since episode 5 isn't on torrent sites yet, here it is:

Google weirdly has episode 5 and 6 confused with swapped titles 🤷‍♂️

btw the painting at the start of this episode is literally the tv thing from that old oneyplays episode, I was watching some oneyplays things I hadn't seen before and it was the same plot they were describing for like 2 or 3 episodes. I think if you watched every oneyplays video most of the smiling friends episodes have characters or plot points brought up in those lmao.
The post you linked for the other episodes is missing. :( I don't want another subscription.

I am not even sure Alan is actually gay, he just says homoerotic shit sometimes.
