Something I enjoy about SF is that it's a "cartoon for adults" where I've seen that the show gets people excited for animation as an art form. I see reactions from people who watch the show who are excited waiting to see what different, wild, amazing animation sequences and scenes and characters will be featured on the show, and they are amazed, thrilled, or highly amused at the different styles on display, sometimes contrasting with each other for great effect. It's a change from the average "adult comedy cartoon" show where the characters are rendered in some variation of beanmouth and spend most of the airtime facing 3/4ths towards the viewer or as talking heads, talk talk talking, voicing the most obnoxious writing from L.A. hacks who like to imagine they are clever.
