>they bring up the Norwood scale

It’s best when Zach brings up shit that he’s passionate about. Like when he and JonTron brought up watching cartel videos and combat footage.

The episode was a bit bland at the beginning, but it really took off when Pim was kidnapped. The evil wizard's motivation was unexpected and hilarious. As with Moleman, this season seems to comment on today's neuroticism toward self-image among men, and I appreciate that they keep it funny. These are just goofy motivations for villains that help lampoon these mindsets.

I just started laughing uncontrollably when the Wizard pulled up the Norwood scale (calling himself 3.5 when they showed him to be completely bald) and then made the argument about how hair has an effect on your image. That was just a perfectly silly episode of Smiling Friends not a second of animation was wasted.

Charlie putting all that grand strategy experience to good use in training the Shmaloogles was the highlight of the episode for me. Plus, the Shmaloogles having a thinly veiled Smurfs vs. Gargamel dynamic going on with the wizard was kinda neat too.

I get the same feeling watching this show as I did watching cartoons as a kid, and I don't mean that in a le heckin nostalgia way, but more simply the show is fun and makes me laugh and there's not much else to say. I sometimes feel the discourse online has an artificial feeling to it, like people are so conditioned to negativity they have to create it.

Episode was alright. Pretty good but a step down from the last one. I liked the ending gag where they go to Wawa and the king Shmaloogle tries to start beef with Charlie for no reason. I gotta say though I think the extended awkward/realistic dialogues gags are getting a bit old when that's all there is to the joke.

I for one took great pleasure in how this joke was a thinly veiled "FUCK YOU! 🖕" to a certain subset of a particular breed of hashtaggers who got disproportionately powerful around 2017 or so.

Incredibly satisfying episode overall, probably a contender for my top favorite of the season. 😎👌

This episode is like 70% based on an old Oney Plays AI fuck around video. Niall is one of Chris’s Irish friends.

I think it was better because the realistic dialogue was just Pim admitting he’s biased against bald people. I am getting tired of Zach doing all the voices. They need to bring in someone else. Tomar does a good amount, but he can do a good creepy voice.

I like how they actually got Brian O'Halloran to do a cameo for like a 10s callback gag in the post-credits.

Lost it at the training montage and when the wizard put hair on the guy’s photo as his argument. The king going “Yeah I’m talking to YOU” at the end also really got me for some reason.

I was curious is there was scene during the battle where it looked like Charlie took a creepshot. Charlie was behind the princess on the stair shot, with the old guy further back, but his hands never break from a normal running animation.
