There is a big difference between Metalocalypse and "Popcorn" media like Smiling Friends. SF has a loose through line and subtext while Metalocalypse was building up to featured movie length metal opera; completely different genres and goals. SF works for me in that it is focused on ground characters who want something and then start an adventure based off the call to adventure. The comedy is how the familiar characters react to Absurd situations. Going long form would be unneeded, there are still plenty of short stories to tell.
 
Netflix won the Warner Bros. bidding war, What are the odds they fuck up SF if it goes through? It feels like it’s a bit too “genuinely” edgy for their usual output.

I do not get the millenial reverence for Space Jam. The original was shit made to glorify a degenerate gambler who should have been barred for life from the NBA, and the sequel was just more of the same slop.

At this point, why not? Everyone else is obsessed with being huge booba models, setting aside personal needs and desires to have the most eyes on them. I too would sooner simp for a mid bitch than any conventionally attractive woman who knows people goon at her.

Shane Gillis got to make Tires with them. I’m not sure how the internal politicking of it may have worked but it’s a funny show that plays with offensive jokes. Also, doesn’t that fun schizo dude that was on the interview with Null and Kurt Meztger have a show through Netflix?

I feel like maybe 13 minutes or at best a few extra minutes would've helped with seeing the cliche of everything falling apart when a certain character leaves.

These episodes are all but confirmed. A couple crew members on the show accidentally let it slip there were 10 episodes instead of the usual 8 this season.

We found out about these two through a German site ran by Warner Bros. itself. Seems like they wanted these to be a surprise, which is why they were removed a few days after being discovered.

I know we got two more episodes, but when Season 4 starts, I hope it ends with Charlie looking directly at the viewers, his big yellow nose quivering. His voice gets serious and he says "Go to IMDB right now and rate this episode 1 star and say that Smiling Friends fell off." Cue credits.
