I like how you can have more chat on the screen. Before you were stuck with this gay little window. The only thing I want to comment on is the color of the names of the chat users. It is white like the chat text and I feel like it all melts together when I look at it. It would be nice to have the option of setting poster names a different color, like the default kiwi green or something. Keep lifting, and keep squatting that code Jersh.

The day the forum switched over to sneedchat my account lost access to the chat tab, and my account details are no longer editable. This is what I see when I'm logged in. Currently using Chrome, but the same thing happens in firefox, brave, safari, on mobile etc. Deleted cookies and all that fun stuff too. I apologize if I posted in the incorrect area.

In SneedChat, much like in Discord, you can quickly edit your last posted message by pressing the up arrow.
However unlike in Discord, you cannot quickly delete your message by editing it so that it contains 0 characters, by pressing Up, Ctrl+A and Delete.

Could this be added?

I don't know if the latest TOR update broke sneedchat or the DDOS protection. The chat works fine but its fully Broke Pic Farms there for me.
Images work fine everywhere else on the site.

Honestly, at this moment I'd prefer for uparrow to restore the last text you typed in (like most IRC clients I think). This is because I am one of the people with network problems at most of my WiFi spots. Trying to remember to ctrl-A ctrl-C every message before I send it is not working well, but uparrow would work nicely for us afflicted people I think.

Those without profile pictures appear completely avatarless, an empty void where a picture would otherwise be found.
Any chance of getting the same kinds of letters in there, or something bad enough that it'd incentivize people using an actual profile picture?

Chat will "disconnect" and reconnect repeatedly, sometimes freezing on the "disconnect" message until refresh.
Erases anything more than max 5-10 min or 20-30 lines previous.

Happening about every 5 minutes for the past couple of days.

Or if I go "idle" more than a minute or two.

I suspected this to have something to do with the SneedChatlets in other KF tabs, but I can confirm that this happens even if you have a singular tab open and continually in focus. Also Brave, similar version, GNU/Linux.
Almost considering running local packet analysis, as the developer tools in Brave don't give too much information about the specifics of websocket connections beyond message content and initial connection negotiation.
