But regardless, this has just reinforced the idea that I've had from the beginning that this is a strong community. It was about Chris, then not so much, then Chris again, then other people and we went from a small group of recurring posters to a pretty big user-base, but no matter which way the wind blew, it never changed the fact that we're still very much a community. After this first happened I had some serious thinking about whether I wanted to come back again, if I'd still be me, but I'm glad I came to my senses.

I don't know all of you, and sure as heck not all of you know me, but we're still in this boat together. We're all here together, and there's no other Internet-place I'd rather be at than here with you guys.

Just wandering though when the thread title caught my eye...

Christ-Chan, I know I haven't really spoken to you directly, if ever, so I realize my words, which pretty much echo everyone else here, probably don't mean a helluva lot. But all the same, I really don't even pay attention to anyone's gender around here because it really doesn't make a single difference to me. Hell, I didn't even realize Hunger Mythos was a Corgi until I was invited into a chat. That is truly how willfully ignorant I am about a person's gender (as well as race, creed, etc.)

Why? Because I'm only concerned about a person for their personality. Just so long as you aren't talking about eating live babies or blowing up shopping malls or something, I really don't mind any which way. Just be happy with yourself and anyone who wants to be an asshole because of your gender, race, sexual preference or whatever - they can go fuck themselves.

I'm gonna be honest, for reference with the discussion I had with you the other day in chat, I actually hadn't read this thread yet. It must have slipped under the radar or something. I remember you having mentioned it before though.

I know I'm really late to the thread, but I really have to say though, based upon this I am really devastated...that you would think that we'd think less of you for being transgendered. This changes absolutely nothing whatsoever. You're awesome in my book and I'm pretty sure that most people on here really like you as well.

You're you, you're socially awesome and cool, you're great to talk to, and you have awesome hair. That's all that matters and all that should matter. Shame that you were outed without your permission though, hopefully it wasn't with bad intent...
