As far as I've ever been able to tell, after it got stolen from gay dudes "queerness" just means dressing like a homeless clown and being tedious to strangers on the internet. Is there any actual cohesive definition of being queer anymore, or has it been diluted to meaninglessness by random bandwagon jumpers who ironically are way worse faggots than the original guys who were taking dick on the regular?
 
OP hit the nail on the head. Dressing like a homeless clown is an epic descriptor of their fashion sense. :lol:

The bandwagon jumping has made queer lose it's meaning. As the alphabeticals swell in letters and tumblr generated flags it loses all meaning and is just a trendy buzzword. Just combine whatever neo-genders, neo-pronouns and made up flags you want and BAM! You are now kweer.

Do you still look 100% male with no attempt to feminize yourself but want #woke points? Just say you are trans or non-binary. Congrats Steve. You are now queer. If anyone questions you they are transphobic Nazi terfs. And they probably hate black people too.

Queer is not special anymore because it is a blanket label people use to get attention on the internet. And when everyone uses something it's no longer unique to a certain group.

Didn't oldschool gays dislike the term queer though? Wasn't it considered a slur?

People, particularly women, who will have sex with or even marry the opposite sex but do not want to admit they are straight or bisexual because that will give them less alphabet cred.
 
Queer is the term used by people who have become certain of their victory of kicking lgb out of lgbt and making everything about trying to "dismantle straightness" and "abolish the binary" and a million other crazy person things that mean nothing to the average person.

Really just boils down to non-normal. As in very feminine men and very masculine women. Or gays and lesbians and bisexuals. Or women who hate being expected to meet any sort of standards at all. So on and so on.

The non-normal, but totally complete "healthy" for society in general.
 
It’s the equivalent of girls pretending to be bisexual to get male attention used to be. Queer means absolutely nothing, it’s just a buzzword for people who want to feel unique and special without actually making themselves unique or special. Being gay or lesbian isn’t anything special these days so they have to invent a new term to stand out and look more edgy and rebellious. It’s just like how pansexual is just bisexuality for attention seekers

It's attention whoring now. That's all calling yourself queer really means in the current year. Assorted twitter/tumblr dipshits may try to pretend otherwise, but at the end of the day 4chan had their number back in the mid 2000s when the queers were called goth/emo/scene kids instead and called them what they really were: whores for attention.
 
Straight middle to upper class white kids who want oppression points without being oppressed and refer to themselves as pansexual or non-binary.
