So what happens now?

Whenever Chris seems completely broken, or whenever information slow to a trickle, people are quick to assume that it is the end of Our Pet Lolcow. And yet, just when we start to think it's over, he'll come out with some half-baked counter trolling scheme in which he smugly reveals he'd been banned from the mall, or long winded rants about a girl he hadn't talked to for years.

There had been many threads like this before, and I doubt this one will be the last.
Yes, Chris really has a Goku get 'em attitude!

What happens now is I continue to radiate 'awesome' at dangerous levels and watch Chris circle the drain.

Chris finds that he is unable to buy a PSQuad due to his debts, he tardrages, cops are called, Chris starts tard flailing, smacking an officer, Chris is jailed/shot.

At least I hope so. :alog:

Chris finds that he is short on cash to buy the PSQuad, so he sells his PSTriple, since Chris never does his research, he assumes that it is backwards compatible, but it isnt (I think there will be some kind of streaming Ps3 games service, but not from day 1) so he ends up with a very expensive paperweight with maybe one game or two that doesnt even appeal to him.

Bitchfit on Facebook about how he was betrayed by the only friend he had left (Sony) and Sony directives are addresed to go to 14 Branchland Court to apologize in person.

Another 18 months of inactivity, broken only by the occasion FB post about someone from highschool who probably dosn't even remember him, wronging him in some way?

The PS4 will be the best thing that has happened to in years.

I don't think I'v seen anything coming out soon on the next-gen systems that he would like. Most of the launch titles seem to already be on current gen systems. It's all gritty and violent stuff where half the draw is multiplayer.
The thing we've seen with Chris though is that he doesn't seem to care. He's bought games he already has just because the re-release had some sort of (minimal) new content. He's also bought games, played them maybe once, and then never touches them again. I'm sure he'll find some way to waste what little money he already has. Hell, just buying the PS4 on it's own is enough of a waste, because if he bought it without any games, then there's nothing he can really do with it. There's no backwards compatability, so he can't play any of his PS3 games

I wonder if PS4's online has the same 13-year-old-mentality fratboy dudebro vibe that X-Box Live Online has.
He logs in, and within 1/10 of one second, some junior high student pwns him and calls him a "Niggerfaggot" while teabagging him.

So in other words, he would experience what everyone else experiences.

Except, Chris would shit himself.
Literally.

So in other words, he would experience what he experiences every single day.

Hmm, im guessing that after this unfathomable betrayal by all those he thought loved him, his mind will turn from self pity to tard rage. Angry facebook posts calling out his ex gal-pals for not giving him china (with the usual attempts to compare what they did to raping him), possible plans to seek IRL revenge through lawsuits (unlikely given his contempt for bell), sending trolls after them through dox (unlikely he has any of these dox, though through dedicated internetting even he might get something) or flat out death threats. This coupled with an overly combative mindset will result in more clashes with jerkops/manajerks, and thus chris will come ever closer to the abyss

Poor Anna (and I use the word poor lightly) has to go in super asspat mode. Chris might begin to use the blame game on his gal pals just as he did with Megan. Chris will always have Anna as a friend, and one friend is better then none. Will Chris learn that quality is better than quantity in terms of friends? Who knows?
Also I'm doubtful about new videos.

That just means more things for him to re-buy! It's a win-win!

It's still unlikely, because Chris doesn't seem to be mad at the girls, personally. But yeah, Chris calls Bell a wuss, but he's still constantly trying to use him as a weapon.

Considering the deals going on with PS4/XB1 games where you can get those versions of certain games for $10 if you buy the PS3/360 versions, I wouldn't be surprised if Chris decided it was time to "broaden his tastes" like what happened with the PS3. (Or at least, I assume that's what happened since he was apparently pretty anti-Sony/MS for a while.

I dunno. I think that this might actually be the thing that breaks him. Throughout everything, his high school life was this one great shining and untouchable symbol of purity for him that only got bigger and shinier as he began to become more and more unfamiliar with how things actually were. That's pretty standard for most, but at the same time Chris went above and beyond with how much he idealized his memories. Him getting his dreams crushed in one form or another was actually pretty inevitable, although odds are that it would've been a little more easy on him if it happened earlier in his life. If this had happened after say, the Megan saga, odds are that his former HS companions would do some half-hearted attempt to defend him if pressed, which might have had better long term repercussions. I can see maybe, maybe one of the former galpals having a slight 1% chance of convincing Bob that Chris should have some sort of sustained mental therapy for everything that has been happening online. I don't think Bob really realized how bad everything was until it was too late and they were all already pretty inured to everything, like a frog in a slowly boiling pot.

In any case, if anything was going to make Chris make a suicide attempt of any sort, this would be it. He's in the "perfect" spot for it: he has zero friends (at least none he can trust), no money, a house full of garbage that's unlikely to last for much longer, a portion of the online community that focuses on him is actively seeking ways to make him fail further, and on top of it all, the one thing he's viewed as sacred and untouchable is a lie. That's got to be making him think about what else in his life is unsafe and/or a lie. Plus he no longer has anything left to look forward to: he probably had this idea that any reunion would be filled with all the glory he imagined existed in his teen days, and that he'd hook up with one of his galpals from high school because hey- he's a sensitive TomGirl that needs to have his wounds (and other things) licked.

I think Compy said in the main mini-chat that Chris is in the hospital. She didn't say what for, but I can see Chris making some sort of statement and someone calling him on it by pushing him to go to the hospital. It'd be lovely if he had a nice little mental breakdown while he was there, since he'd actually have some access to proper mental health care as opposed to Barb pouring more brainwash into his ears.

True, but what Chris was "bouncing back from" in that video was something that really didn't impact him. Kacey was, like, Sweetheart-for-Life #10, and his declarations of eternal love just got even more hilariously rote from there.

Whatever this turns out to be-a legitimately deeply-felt blow or a vague unpleasantness he'll forget-it's at the very least the beginning of the end of his newfound fantasy world. First CWCville, now Manchester High, and the nesting doll that comprises Chris's fantasy worlds can only go so deep.

I doubt it's a suicide attempt anyway, likely something for :snorlax: and her holey buttocks.

gameplay doesn't matter, as long as it's available for purchase and on the ps triple or quadruple, chris will buy it. he hasn't even played half the shit he's bought.

Yup, for Chris it's all about hoarding as many games as he can. His purchasing behavior has always been to just buy everything he can afford ("afford" being defined as however much he can put on all of his credit cards without maxing them), whether or not he ever really wants to play it. It wouldn't be at all out of the ordinary for him to buy a launch PS4 and 2-3 games that he'll barely ever even touch (plus maybe a few extra peripherals thrown in for good measure). I could see him getting into Knack though. It's a bright, colorful platformer that probably involves running around and collecting tons of stupid trinkets.

Why doesn't he just drop some acid and go to Goodwill with :snorlax: then? It'd probably be cheaper than getting a PSQuad!
