I'm surprised that so many bad moderation decisions were made by such a team of winners. I don't claim to know every mod drama story in SA's history, but for non-goons here's a sample from the last 3-4 years:
Aatrek - Literal convicted paedophile (molested a child whilst babysitting), was mod of the TV forum for years before SS doxxed him.
Eggplant Wizard - Feminazi mod of PYF (and maybe GBS too?), handed out probations for wrongthink and rape culture, until she got doxxed (not sure who by) and it turned out she was writing furry rapefics in her spare time.
Brother Jonathan - Spectacularly autistic PYF mod who was obsessed with trains, eventually had a meltdown when posters barraged him with the phrase "Nig Nog tryin' to get a hand beezy" over and over until he detonated. Exploded in the mod forum, one of the other mods leaked his meltdown post, possibly the funniest mod fall of them all.
Childlike Empress - Actually banned image macros (and banned posters who posted them) in PYF of all places (basically think of PYF as a sort of safe-for-work version of 4Chan)
Abe - Superstar GBS mod with an army of ass-kissers who "coincidentally" stood down after attempting to dogpile a 12-year-old boy on twitter who was guilty of some tiny trans-related wrongthink and ended up being owned by said child in spectacular fashion.
Windows 98 - Much-loathed GBS shitposter who begged Lady Ambien (Mrs Lowtax) to be made a mod for so long she caved in and agreed to get him a second account to mod from to avoid a full-on forums revolt if GBS found out who he was, couldn't resist boasting about it, got banned instead.
Grover - Long-serving mod of GIP (the forum for military types), who claimed to hold the "equivalent rank" of Colonel, turned out to be some civilian contractor who didn't know which end of a gun was the loud one. Built his own house in such an amazingly incompetent way (load-bearing drywall, insulated stairs) that it was condemned over and over by inspectors, until he got accredited as a building inspector himself and passed his own dangerous and incompetent work. Mention of "Groverhaus" was punishable by the banhammer for years, in one of the finest examples of comedy being illegal the forums ever created. Rumour has it that Lowtax hates GIP and kept Grover on as a mod there specifically to make their lives miserable.
