Sonichu Sonees and Roseys

I think part of the Sonne/Rosee presence in the comics is Chis wanting to be treated like a baby himself. I roleplayed online a lot in my younger years, and you'd see some people consistently play a young character who just wanted attention and affection from everyone. Often they'd been abused in the past, prompting other characters to comfort and protect them. Dollars to donughts, the people who did that had shitty home lives and felt helpless and alone and just wanted to be taken care of. Chris likes to pretend his life is simple again and he has a mother that actually cooks for him. If we ever see the Tomgirl comics with Robee, they'll probably be a lot of Rosechu lavishing attention and acceptance on her son because Chris wants that from his tomgirly actions.

Chris saw nothing out of the ordinary in discussing his parents' frequent shouting matches in a Spanish assignment, so it's a safe bet his post-Greene lawsuit childhood was a bit tumultuous.

CWCollateral is probably the best Sonichu fanwork since Asperchu. Can't really go too wrong.

They remind me of Vivi from Final Fantasy IX for some reason.

So far CWCollateral is awesome it's a very dark take on OPL's city. If I had the talent to make a really good animated 3-D movie or video game I would make after it. So far I've been picturing the story as a movie or something. Awesome take on the Sonichu world.

I just got to the part with the Sonees and Roseys. And wow that's creepy.

Honestly, I'm just shocked that Alcoholic-Legend is still producing content even if you have to add an asterisk on him completing AVSA2 due to Manajerkop pretty much finishing it for him.

Well, that would've been too easy. All of the Honey Badgers are expies of the classes from TF2 (Jexis = Medic, Amanda = Demoman, etc.), and I didn't want Serge to be too similar to the Heavy. Plus, in Russian folklore, Baba Yaga is an evil witch who eats babies. Symbolism? Maybe. Then again, Serge doesn't like killing "tiny shock-pigs" too much...

I like chibi art and enjoyed it since I was little. I like the concept of Sonichu and Rosechu having kids and doing mundane things around the house. I like seeing that in fictional characters and I feel it opens intimacy between the characters and the viewer. I'm not keen on Chris' art and utterly dull writing. It doesn't help that the kids don't do anything, don't add anything, and I can't even tell you what their personalities are like. I think it is Cerah that is in plays or something and the kids eventually start a band with their trans*sister.

So what I think I am trying to say, I like the kids more in concept than execution. (But that goes for Chris and his life in general.)

I myself find the Sonee's and Rosey's fascinating from a psychological point of view as Chris unwittingly lets us gaze in at how he wanted his childhood to be. Also the whole Magi-Chan is Christine's real father thing amuses me to no end.
