If Sega really plans to continue the comics at another publisher, my money would be on either IDW or Boom.

Okay, the artist had to have known what he was doing with this one at least. Rain does not look like that on someone's face.

Well, Ken Penders ended up destroying the comic for which he's best known. This is why you write proper contracts.
 
Awww, I remember picking up a comic every month or so and reading it when I was a wee kid in elementary school.

Oh well. Maybe the new publisher/series will be better.
 
I liked that comic when I was a kid. I didn't know it was still being published. TBH it was almost certainly time to take that dog behind the shed and put it out of its misery years ago.

Now that Sega took back Sonic. We just need to wait for the other half of the equation to finally announce they're stopping their comics entirely.

Because let's face it, Sonic was the reason Archie Comics remained as relevant as they did. Not many people give two shits about the Riverdale cast as the reboots and spinoffs have proven. And I don't know about the Mega Man comic and what's going on there. So really, this is a huge blow to them. And they have no one to blame but themselves and Ken Penders.
