The CWCki works just fine, what are these people on about? (Using IE BTW).

Then again, if the health department of Greene County sees those bots that are on the damn website, they could condemn the whole thing, and we would have to move out of it.

Again.

Could be that Greene County is actually sending the bots. They hate all things Chandler.

If the CWCki does go down, did some people save EVERYTHING to their hard drive? (kind of like what Encyclopedia Dramatica did when they got shut down the first time)

I think someone should do this as a backup.
I have a backup copy of the CWCki, which includes full page contents (with page history), as well as all user talk pages and images. This can be imported directly into a fresh MediaWiki install should the need arise. I don't know if this backup covers templates/layouts, but content-wise it's 100% complete.

Well, i can download the CSS if need be. That might be the only thing missing in your archives.

I'm in the process of doing a test import, and so far everything seems to be OK layout-wise, so it looks like the CSS is all OK. The only thing that concerns me is that the template pages haven't been backed up, which, if they haven't, is going to be a bloody hassle to sort out. Otherwise, so far it's going really well; I almost have a fully-working offline copy of the CWCki.

The import works perfectly, and I now have a fully-working copy of the CWCki in the event that it is ever taken down (heaven forbid). I also have copies of all the videos on TheCWCVilleLibrary, as well as some other random bits and pieces.

If it comes down to it, I will be able to host MediaWiki on my server as well.

Seeing as how the main page has been down for a few weeks now, is there anyway to keep tabs on what Chris has been up to? I miss the little ticker on the right side of the main page.

Can his matchlink.com profile and new Okcupid profile be added to da update? I feel like other wise they will get forgotten about without the main page.

I tried accessing the front page with this URL, which purges the cache:
http://sonichu.com/cwcki/Main_Page?action=purge&forcelinkupdate
And after purging, I was able to get on the front page without any issues. What I think happened is that the MediaWiki server had cached a broken version of the front page, so by purging it, MediaWiki removed the bad version from the cache.

That worked for me too. Thanks! :D

Now Google no longer lists the site as being "compromised".

It might be best to post these requests on the talk pages of the CWCki itself. This forum is only loosely affiliated with the CWCki, and I have no idea if Cogs reads it (in fact I doubt it).
