I don't know, Marissa Moira told me otherwiseI don't think there'd be any legal issues with simply running emulation 16.67% faster to make up for speed differences

Could be illegal in Brexit land.I don't think there'd be any legal issues with simply running emulation 16.67% faster to make up for speed differences
The PSP had a processor in it somewhere that was part of the same family the PS1 used. So it was only partial emulation. I think it might have been in the PS3 as well, but I'm not sure. The thing is, Sony had a decent PS1 emulator for the PSP and PS3, why the fuck didn't they used that instead.
A demo for Trinity Trigger, the new action RPG published by FuRyu and developed by Three Rings, is now available for PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Store and Switch via Nintendo eShop in Japan. The PlayStation 4 version costs 100 yen (approx. $1 USD), while the Switch version is free. This is because the game has yet to be rated and is treated as a “CERO Z” title on PlayStation, which requires a credit or debit card purchase to prove the user is over 18 years of age.

I wasn't talking about using a established emulator, I was talking about using their own emulation and injecting fixes to it. They've done it in the past, They sure as shit can do it againThe legal issues come from autistic FOSS licenses that free emulators use, the license prohibits the code to be used in any commercial software.

The funny thing is that such restrictions don't exist on the Nintendo Switch eshop. You can also buy Z-rated games off the japanese eshop with only prepaid cards, something that isn't possible at all on the japanese PSN (and I remember this fairly well with the Vita).>This is because the game has yet to be rated and is treated as a “CERO Z” title on PlayStation, which requires a credit or debit card purchase to prove the user is over 18 years of age.
uh-huh... Because it's not like kids these days have their parent's credit card in their own pockets for them to spend on whatever the fuck they want anyways, right?
... OH WAIT.
I was talking about situations of using an established emulator though.I wasn't talking about using a established emulator, I was talking about using their own emulation and injecting fixes to it. They've done it in the past, They sure as shit can do it again
You do need a valid credit card when setting up a Nintendo account when setting up an account for a person under 13 if they wish to use online features and the give a one time charge to the parent's credit card. Sony's account system works different and lets it be a purchase by purchase situation. The funny thing is that such restrictions don't exist on the Nintendo Switch eshop. Why the fuck would they do that when they built the hardware and software before? They built a PS2 emulator that runs on a PS4, built another one in the past for the PS3, and emulators for both. They already have the engineering to do this, why can't they do this correctly whereas europoors are making emulators much better?I was talking about using an established emulator though.
The PS2 emulators have some issues on the PS5. Some games come with a warning screen that shit might fuck up due to the newer hardware. Despite the PS4 being able to be run on PS5, this didn't really transfer over to the older games that were emulated with the PS4 in mind. Why the fuck would they do that when they built the hardware and software before? I was using that as example of engineering. My point still stand that they're lazy fucks at the end of the day and will no longer make cool racing games like motorstorm againThe PS2 emulators have some issues on the PS5. They'll make a motorstorm game if people are willing to pay the DLC prices I bet, because GT7 despite the DLC and grinding has not dropped off the cliff after the honeymoon period.I was using that as example of engineering. That's only a thing in the US because of Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The thing you're claiming isn't present in euro countries like mine or in Japan. You do need a valid credit card when setting up a Nintendo account when setting up an account for a person under 13 if they wish to use online features and the give a one time charge to the parent's credit card. It goes a bit further than just COPPA globally, Korea has it's own version as does China. I think the chinese e-shop still requires Tencent's own app to log into it.That's only a thing in the US because of Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). I'll repeat the initial point though so it doesn't get lost by your dyslexia: purchases of CERO Z-rated game contents are restricted for normal PSN accounts in Japan to solely a valid japanese credit card (prepaid cards don't work) while the Switch eshop has no such rules.
Wait, there is an Avatar game? WTF, that movie is old and irrelevant as shit, why is it all this sudden getting Astro-turfed into public conscious again? Does it have a fanbase anymore? All the original stood on were pretty visuals, for the time. At least Harry Potter maintained a fanbase to justify its new game. The powerpoint presentation feels like a parody in some parts. I know companies can't lie to investors but it's always possible to muddle info and be obtuse on purpose (a trait that Sony and its rabid fanboys like Marissa do share together, master like student) in order to convince.

-Game software sales are down while most of PlayStation's money is made from specifically in-game purchases and subscriptions. Hence the current focus on live services.
-There will be a stronger focus on releasing first-party titles for PC and mobile throughout the future
-PS5 hardware won't be in proper supply before 2024 at least (lol). Obviously assuming that the public interest will hold out for this long
