..... Wat was that. And the NordVPN ad..... Wat.
The Japanese economy has gotten even more shit, but the Japanese are still xenophobic. In other words, its Monday. This is some manner of necroposting, but after about a year has the situation changed any?
Been that way for awhile now. Controllers shouldn't be as much as a fucking game.Controllers are too overpriced?
Those are charging stands... and if I'm guessing right that's SK Won, so about $40... Which seems fine.More anecdotal evidence. I spotted controller's on sale in my local electronics section of the department store. Controllers are too overpriced?

You're right that they're Korean and they're $30 off. My bad though, I only looked quickly, I thought they were actually controllers. Those are charging stands... and if I'm guessing right that's SK Won, so about $40... Which seems fine.
I originally didn't zoom in and thought it was JP Yen, and thought $500 was a bit excessive
More like $15-20 would seem fine; $40 is over half the price of the already overpriced controller itself. Those are charging stands... and if I'm guessing right that's SK Won, so about $40... Which seems fine.

And there's a whole bootlegging industry of PS4 controllers. Even getting them from the store you might end up getting a fake. It was one of the main reasons I never bought a second one until recently. Luckily it was a legit one as there's quite a bit of information out there to determine it.More like $15-20 would seem fine; $40 is over half the price of the already overpriced controller itself.
I distinctly remember N64 controllers being $30, and I think PS2 Dualshock 2s were the same. PS3 upped it to $50, and now PS5 is $70. And they come in gross colors. Sony can't even do the color red right anymore:

They even got it right last generation!
PS4's "Magma Red":

One of my favorite looking controllers is the original PS1 red controller. It is extremely red in person. Sadly not great to use, though, the D-pad is pretty stiff on their pre-analog stick gamepads.

Sony always made great looking red controllers, and now they have this grotesque maroon one they're claiming is red. Like what is even going on over there?
That's because Sony stopped making them for some retarded reason, and so all the scalpers bought the real controllers instantly and now all thats left are fakes. And there's a whole bootlegging industry of PS4 controllers. Fuck you, you colorist shitlord! It clearly identifies as the color red, so therefore it's a real red controller! In fact, it's better than other red controllers!Sony always made great looking red controllers, and now they have this grotesque maroon one they're claiming is red. If they are going to cost as much as a game, they should at least use analog sticks that don't drift right out of the box. But what do I know?Been that way for awhile now. Controllers shouldn't be as much as a fucking game.
Brings back nightmares of the piece of shit DS3 controllers which have the worst analog I've ever encountered.Fuck you, you colorist shitlord! It clearly identifies as the color red, so therefore it's a real red controller! In fact, it's better than other red controllers!

Just repair it yourself. If it's just the stick cap that's literally the easiest thing to do, they pull right off. A lot more people need to learn to fix their own shit instead of spending money to buy new things.I still have to get a new PS4 controller since one of the analog sticks are worn off from using it too much. Even then, I still get confused as to why it’s so expensive. Not even the Big XBOX controllers were as expensive back in the early 2000’s.
There were two versions of the DS3 that had different analog sticks. It's unconfirmed if they are actually Hall Effect sticks but the models with 4 pins out of the potentiometer supposedly don't drift, later models only have 3 pins out and those are normal graphite pads, which are what cause the drifting in all controllers these days. I don't think there is even a way to determine what type a controller is without opening it up and counting the pins directly.Brings back nightmares of the piece of shit DS3 controllers which have the worst analog I've ever encountered.
I don't play my PS4 enough for the sticks to actually start drifting, but my Switch Pro Controller's right stick started recently, and even then I hadn't used it that much. Luckily I had a spare joystick module lying around from when I had to fix an Xbone stick that literally got snapped. I also just straight up have had enough with drifting after swapping joycon sticks at least 10 times now and just bought this:If they are going to cost as much as a game, they should at least use analog sticks that don't drift right out of the box. sometimes more, the annoying part is that it's not durable and maintenance for them little shits is downright impossible.Been that way for awhile now. Controllers shouldn't be as much as a fucking game.
Is that the latest GT? It looks terrible (forget the AI)...In regards to Gran Turismo, I still don't get how some people think this is acceptable AI in a racing game.

If this were to happen in a Forza, NFS, Crew, or F1 game, people would be screaming their asses off about it, and the GT fans would ridicule the said AI endlessly. But when GT does it...
Even video game AI can't handle inclement weather correctly. Tesla full self driving my ass!In regards to Gran Turismo, I still don't get how some people think this is acceptable AI in a racing game.

Looks like the AI is just as brain-dead as the people who "developed" this gameIn regards to Gran Turismo, I still don't get how some people think this is acceptable AI in a racing game.
