Also the Sony Ponies keep sperging on about the controller's "haptic feedback" that reacts differently depending on the situation but I honestly never noticed a difference between any other vibrating controller...
Sony tends to 'invent' things 20 years after the fact and when Sony does it it's the greatest thing ever made. 3d audio has existed for decades with HRTF and EAX, but now Sony does it and it suddenly requires specialized hardware thats impossible to run on anything other than a PS5 (it also sounds awful and tinny, and isn't even HRTF, its like a stereo booster, but everything is still one ear or the other. Listen to Elden Ring gameplay on ps5 vs any other platform, sounds awful)

Sony took the haptics that Valve used for their controllers and VR stuff that Nintendo later used for the Switch, and now its some incredible thing. I saw some people on a DF video for Returnal jerking Sony off over 'Raytraced Audio', which has also been a thing for like 25 years, but because Sony did it...

So I was playing some Resident Evil 3 on PS5 today and I noticed that Sony added a really useless new feature for the controller. The PS5 controller has a backlit glow that changes color when you play RE games to show your health: e.g. green for good, yellow for caution, red for almost dead etc. The glow is a fine feature on it's own and all but it's a pretty useless feature since no one actually looks at their fucking controller when they're playing the game.
Wolfenstein: The New Order on PS4 did that with the controller's light. It actually worked about as well as it possibly could, considering the light is on the back of the controller, so if you're playing in a dark room, you'll always see that glow in your peripheral vision.

I recently learned that Sony doesn't allow you to change the region/country of your PSN account, you have to create a new one.

It's not that big of a deal (I guess) since you can log multiple accounts on one console, still pretty retarded though, even Nintendo let's you do it lol

I remember GTAV doing something similar depending on which character you played. Micheal was blue, Trevor was orange and Franklin was green and you GTAO character was either purple or one you chose IIRC

On the Playstation Vita, you were limited to a single PSN account per console and game saves were tied to that account in particular. Meaning there was no other way but to say goodbyes to your saves when changing to another account, at least back before the hack became widespread for later firmwares.

Only a bunch of early japanese Vita cartridge physicals had built-in save slots, such as Persona 4, EDF3 Portable and Muramasa, but you'd get a warning message that achievements (lol) would be disabled if it were detecting saves from a previous owner.

The sole thing Sony had over Nintendo when it comes to account management, was to let several Playstation devices (up to five iirc) use the same primary PSN account with no restrictions, whereas Nintendo forces the secondary Switch to constantly stay online on digital-purchased titles.

Well, I hope everyone has at least a 512gb MicroSD

Making Xbox Game Pass accesible to Switch via streaming would be the most inmediate and feasable way to make this agreement work until Nintendo releases a more powerful piece of hardware.

Virtual reality is a lot like Myers-Briggs. A fad that simply will not die, nor go away for a while. It keeps popping back up.

Lol got myself into what might be a very fun, and retarded, debate about Neil Cuckmann on a dude's stream next Monday. Any arguments I should be expecting about the greatness of the Cuck Mann

Every single one of these has been a bunch of indie games, and maybe one AAA game that doesn't really appeal to me. This generation has been a dud, nothing seems to be coming out aside from generic third person action adventure games. It's really pushed me over the edge into biting the bullet and setting up a computer.

He'll obviously put all the accomplishments at Cuckman's feet, so be sure to make it a package deal and bundle the failures in too. The easiest way is criticize the writing, harp on the fact he's a woke hack with a fetish for trannies.

The most common criticism he can't wiggle his way out of is Joel's characterization. He walks right into a trap like a moron without any caution, plan, or even putting up a struggle. Cuckman had to nerf him because he's either an incompetent writer or a spiteful one who wanted to shit on Joel.

Btw, I don't even like TLOU1, so I'm not some Joel fanboy, it's just an objective observation.

I don't think you understood what I meant when I said they're expanding in Korea and China.

They're investing in their corporate structure, and you have them funding a lot of games intended for an international release. I'm not talking about sales. This is a change from both the PS3 and PS4 era. And people do wind up playing mobile games on consoles and PC because that's how Genshin Impact took off and that seems to be Sony's model for what they want for their freemium games.
This is MM's last post. Where oh where did he go?
