That’s because the PS2 actually had games, and not just games that were only platformers that no one else would play in only two weeks after release.PS2 games are better than PS5 games.

The Switch is the modern PS2.That’s because the PS2 actually had games, and not just games that were only platformers that no one else would play in only two weeks after release.
I feel like the same could be said for the 3DS. Sadly Nintendo shut down the online store. The Nintendo eshop. I hope they dont do the same thing for the Switch. The Switch is the modern PS2.
And I mean that sincerely, in that it not only has a ridiculous amount of games for it, but no matter what genre of game you're a fan of, there will be games for you to play. In terms of content, the Switch is probably the best library for third party games that Nintendo has had since the NES or SNES.
Apologies for double reply, I'm AGAIN running into format bugs. AnywayI found the target audience of the PlayStation Portal™

I am going to own the left by playing a janky PS2 game instead and say that its better.
The Wii had some decent stuff on it, although I guess most of the big titles were first-party. As for the eShop, they'll shut it down eventually once they move on from the Switch. Fortunately, the Switch is very popular so it'll be around a long time. And also fortunately it seems like Switch games are easy to pirate, so we know they'll be preserved, short of everything getting DMCA'd.I feel like the same could be said for the 3DS. The North American coverart for the original Silent Hill 2 did that better. Just reuse the picture of Angela contemplating suicide again. Most of media want to use the same exact template to make sure that they are supposed to be "dramatic" or "serious"
You're right, it did. It was a good first step at getting third parties back with Nintendo to release stuff after being abandoned during the N64 and GC eras. It also helps that with Sony closing down Japan studios and moving to Commefornia, that Nintendo has basically become the new home of the kind of games that everyone liked on the old PS systems. The Wii had some decent stuff on it, although I guess most of the big titles were first-party. In terms of things Sony didn't make but they made them more popular, such as Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy (the latter two that were originally titles for NES and SNES), they were also making Sony cool during the mid-to-late 90s before they cross to other platforms.Ratchet & Clank was a platformer with shooting mechanics. Jak and Daxter was an open world, linear collectathon. Sly Cooper was a stealth lite action adventure game. Twisted Metal was a dark, demolition derby vehicular combat game. God of War was a hack-and-slash adventure game. Hot Shots Golf was an arcade, manga like golf game. Something for everybody. Now it's just cinematic, third person titles that populate Sony's lineup. They're not bad, they're just the same. With the ESG focus, they're just getting worse.
And PS4 games, and PS3 games. It's been nothing but downhill ever since.PS2 games are better than PS5 games.
I think for some namely the person in the video, Sony has become the brand to show off, like Air Jordan's, Gucci, Dolce, etc. Sony is the brand you put nigger rich emphasis on, its supposedly premium but affordable enough a nigger can still buy it.Apologies for double reply, I'm AGAIN running into format bugs. Anyway
ve noticed alot of this wording/behavior with Sony fanboys. It's part of what pushed me to the Xbox last month. I'm again sperging about GT7, but it's the same shit there as all PS exclusive/fanboy stuff. Every discussion turns into
- you're a hater
- you're upsetting me
- stop hating and enjoy it
- X studio doesn't owe you anything, stop asking for fixes
- this is the best X ever, anyone who says different is a (kid/boomer/not gamer/not car guy) who should play something else
- BUY THE VR
- "go play something else". It's always the same fucking responses. Regardless of platform, or game, although my experience is mostly with GT I've seen it with TLOu as well.
There's this persistent attitude that everything sony/its studios do is the best, is done for a reason, and that anyone who thinks different simply needs to be educated.
Obvious FOMO/MTX in a game where spending money levels you up, and you can buy money? No. That's not an MTX push. Sony would never do that. It's a Japanese lesson in earning something.
Worthless portable device? No, you don't get it. You're not a real gamer. Go play Xbox.
Rinse repeat
PS3 is the middle ground for me. PS3 (and if technically counts PSP and PSVita) is still better than PS4 or PS5 but that's not saying much as PS1 and PS2 have better games. And PS4 games, and PS3 games. It's been nothing but downhill ever since.
I agree completely, I enjoyed enough of PS3 to consider it good--not great, but good. Partially might have to do with the genres I like, there weren't many good platformers, especially 2D ones, and JRPGs were notoriously absent/dog shit.PS3 is the middle ground for me. Hey, the ps3/360 days were good. It’s the ps4 that was shit. And PS4 games, and PS3 games. It's been nothing but downhill ever since.
Yup, that's what me switch to Nintenderp and PC. I'm a JRPG fan and Sony shit the bed big time in that regard by courting sjws who hate Japan.Personally I've liked some of Sony's past consoles but they've gotten so far off what I liked about them its not even worth buying a ps5. I use to like Sony because I could get really good RPGs and jrpgs, then all the RPGs went to the switch because they sold better there and the jrpgs westernized or Sony closed the studios or chased them off with their censorship.
PS3 was fine, but it's an objective downgrade from PS2 no matter how you slice it. There's more good games on PS2 than some systems have in total comprising their entire library. It's crazy actually.Hey, the ps3/360 days were good. It’s the ps4 that was shit.
Subjective. The ps2 era had some of my favorite games like FFX, RE4, and Silent Hill 2. The ps3 though had Vanquish, Nier, God of War 3. Just providing some examples for both. I thought both of those eras were great.PS3 was fine, but it's an objective downgrade from PS2 no matter how you slice it. To a degree it's subjective, someone could say virtually any Sony console is the best, I guarantee there's much coping by Soyny fanboys about how PS5 blows everything before it away, no contest. But if we really dug into the libraries I think PS2 would come out on top.Subjective. The ps2 era had some of my favorite games like FFX, RE4, and Silent Hill 2.
