Yeah the hardware is a natural evolution but if Nintendo push higher than their usual price point or don't offer anything other than Switch but with shiny new graphics, I don't think it will sell as well as people think.

No idea. I just know they intend on one based on their comments and track record. If they're smart it will be subdued yet still interesting/practical and will give Switch 2 an identity.

I don't know how long they'll support it but I do agree they will. But it won't get all the same games; Metroid Prime 4 is an obvious contender for cross-generation, and probably the last big one aside from some Pokemon spinoffs/remakes.

Anecdotal evidence says most people want a powerful switch to play 3rd party games, which is funny considering Nintendo has done everything in its' power to tell 3rd parties to fuck off for the last 2 decades.

I'm hoping for a new IP but yeah, their first year should be packed with their big name franchises.

I don't see why 3rd party wouldn't jump on board, if it's stronger than PS4 then scaling down PS5 games should be feasible. They only recently started shifting to PS5 exclusives, but even some of those work on Steam Deck after they got PC ports (Ratchet & Clank comes to mind), so I don't think they even really need to be PS5 exclusive.

Nintendo fans and Apple fans are the same breed of consooomer and have been for decades. Both fans excuse shitty behaviour under some false idea that what they do is the best and therefore can't be beat by anyone.

Apple fans and Nintendo fans are more defensive/aggressive in their ball-licking cock-sucking admiration of the 'dear leader' hardware. All consoomers are faggots, Nintendo and Apple fans take that faggotry to another level.

There's one thing to be said for Nintendo; their fucks up are as colossal as their successes. They do not do things by half.

Well yes, we do agree that consoomers are faggots, but they are different breeds of slop faggots with or without the nuts, with them going to social media and praise a brand name without finding any or all flaws, especially the obvious ones. That's the point I'm also making.
