Ah, Politics - no matter the country, bringing them up reduces everyone to screeching retards. Glad to see some things are consistent.

Sony raising the price on the PS5 honestly doesn’t surprise me as much as it should - even ignoring how every Sony Division seems to look at the others being Fucktarded and takes that as a challenge to one up, Playstation specifically has thrown so much money into the Live Service black hole with nothing to show from it, aside from the glorious laugh we all had at Concord, and even with them making bank off MTX from third party titles, they don’t keep all of that like they would for First Party Content. All like, 2 games of it they have.

At least when Microsoft does retarded things with the Xbox, they’ve got Windows money to act as a safety net - even if I still think the plan there is to move to Gamepass being the priority and phasing out Hardware - , but Sony is playing one helluva shell game with its profits to keep the lights on for ever Division

PS and Xbox both just suck huge cock this gen, at this point they're making PS3 and Xbone look good by comparison.

Keep jacking those prices up and soon there will be literally zero reason to get a console over PC.
 
I for one can notice the comic value of Concord being the root cause of controversies years after it gets cancelled.
Tom Greene intentionally wasting publisher money on Freddy Got Fingered pales in comparison to the amount of Sony money that saw the shit end of an asscrack for almost a decade.
Sony will be applying harebrained schemes like this price hike to recoup the cost well into 2030. Believe it.
 
What is even their design philosophy for the current generation and the future? Are they just counting on GTA 6 to carry consoles and subscriptions? Sony pulled how many live service titles since Concord? It’s not like the next superhero game will be a blockbuster hit.
 
How much is Sony hurting from their (seemingly) failed live service investments to raise the price of a PS5 this late into the life cycle of the console?
