Since they're doing this whole realm of the dead Gods thing wouldn't it make way more sense for the MC to be Kratos's daughter instead of his wife?

Because I'm assuming the end of the game is crackhead wife escaping the realm of the dead and returning to the living world and there's way more you could do with the daughter than the wife in that scenario.

Kratos would have another living child to pass his legacy onto, maybe she and Atreus could team up.

Was his daughter part-god? I'm not sure if it's ever addressed.

I remember she was in one of the PSP games and had a hilarious QTE where Kratos had to push her away from him. It certainly wasn't the Afterlife of the Gods, I recall that much.

Debra Wilson isn't *that* ugly. Her shaving her head didn't do her any favors but she still looks way worse in these games.

Same goes for Woll. She's starting to hit the wall but not as bad as Mom of War makes her look.

Also this game has that whole fag coded purple aesthetic which means it should bomb.

Exactly. The woman is a pro. She just does what she is told. Why not base the characters on her younger face?

and since it's a woman game, the antagonist will not be killed, she will get a redemption arc because she was heckin' misunderstood (like Nadine from Ucharted 4, also voiced by the same woman).

What I don't get is the urge to make all the female characters as fugly as possible. The screenshots Sony is using are terrible and I wonder if that's on purpose. In the gameplay video the character doesn't look nearly as ugly as in the cut scenes.

What a beyond shit idea, even if they still kept Kratos as the main character this would be stupid. They already got Jack Quaid to voice the jello cube for this, did they decide to poach the cynicism and retardation of The Boys where every being with immense power is actually an asshole deserving of death with next to no exceptions as part of the deal too?

Is she really? I just think that model looks unattractive. I've seen women in their 60s, 70s, 80s, even 50s that aged better than that. Maybe women NOW aren't aging gracefully anymore for whatever reason.

We literally just went over this in this very thread. It comes up every time they show a new game with new goblins-as-females and other horrific beasts masquerading as humans. How many times do you have to ask the same question before you'll listen to the answer?

These developers all aggressively hate western beauty standards and are doing everything they can do avoid and discourage them.
