Does he even care at this point? Xbox has always been snubbed by Geoff at these things, I'm thinking because of the Dorito Pope memes he has had to endure as well as his gay hard on that games need to be "art"

They'll hire some deep voiced twink to do the voice. It will be a shitshow, Mystique will be voiced by a transgender woman, and Psylocke will be voiced by an Asian woman which will lead to the inevitable spergouts on social media about how we need to hire actors of the same nationality. And maybe some bitching about Viper being played by a blonde whore.

I am actually shocked nobody bitched about Yuri Watanabe being played by the very white Tara Platt. But then again she and her hubby are among the nicer gracious fan-supporting bunch. How meta for Yuri Lowenthal. Same name. Lololol.

Xbox has been getting snubbed for years, it’s nothing new. Red Dead Redemption 2 losing to Dad of Boy 2018 was ridiculous. I’m actually glad that Uncharted 4 lost to Overwatch now. Fuck Ponies.

Never forget that Kojima being barred from attending the Game Awards got a bunch of mentions from Geoff and MGS V got some big time orchestra showcase because Kojima got fired by Konami.

Meanwhile, Iwata fucking died a tragic death and Reggie just got to give a small 3 minute speech about how great he was before presenting an award.

Geoff and The Game Awards is and always has been a fucking joke.

I very much doubt that she got the position for any other reason other than because she is a nigger. That could mean several things, all equally hilarious:
1) Microsoft truly drank the kool aid like Soyny and are on the path of self destruction that we can hardly comprehend at the moment
2) Xbox branch is more or less dead and left forgotten by suits at large, so they're letting a diversity hire take over. Best case scenario, she turns the ship around, worst case scenario is that at least the company gets good PR while the inevitable happens
3) She's only a pretty face and someone else is calling in the shots behind the scenes. Probably a white male, ironically enough. So much for diversity!
