Just finished the Prison break part, and I'll be honest, even though it was clearly telegraphed, Doc Ock's betrayal of Peter kinda hit me in the feels.

What I don't like is suddenly having more than double the bases to clear. I get how that happened, but come on! :stress:

Either way, it's a great game, and probably one of my faves this year..

Please share those posts here. Please, so we can laugh at them. I'd love to see MattMundane make a video about how the gay pride flag in one location in the game is such a terrible thing.

Also I think I can confirm that random events still happen in the game even after you complete all the required ones in a district; which is good because, like I said, there is no level replaying. There's one thing it has over the original TASM game, you can actually do shit in the overworld when you've gotten the platinum.

btw I'm nearing the platinum boiz.

Having a blast with the game, now that i properly sat down to play it. Apparently it's super easy to 100% and platinum due to no difficulty requirements, and i was able to get all landmarks and collectibles within 2h total

If Soy of Boi is anything to go off of, NG+ will probably be an update in a few weeks. Also, I hope Bunty tells us all about how Peter should treat Black Cat like a queen and be a good little cuck who talks favorably of her even after she takes Flash Thomson's king cobra of a cock

Actually enjoying the game so far. Don't like MJ so much, though, as she's pretty annoying for a character, but I've only gotten to the first part you play as her. J. Jonah Jameson seems a bit mean spirited, but that could easily be because of an episode I remember watching of the late nineties Spider-Man cartoon where they reveal why he hates people who hide behind masks. Even Peter forgives him in that. Plus I'm not so sure he's behaving like a Right Wing Nutjob when his behavior keeps reminding me of the crazies on the Left I ran into on Twitter. "There's nothing I can do for you if you can't see it" types.

That said, if those are my only gripes it's a damned fine game so far. Unlike God of Boi where I just got more and more worn down from it with each character making it slog on longer and longer.

Fisk’s headquarters is in the same location as Trump Tower irl, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen more rainbow flags than American ones.

I saw a rainbow flag over a bakery, but that's probably me reaching in regards to recent shit.

It's fucking New York, I can't imagine many of them are "proud" to be Americans. At least from where I'm sitting anyways. Now, if you actually do see more American flags than rainbow flags IRL then yeah... that's deceptive bullshit. However ain't nobody got time for that shit. Ain't nobody gonna map that out. Ain't like it's shit and needles in the streets you gotta avoid.

EDIT: Although, so far in the game it seems without Fisk shit gets thrown into chaos overdrive so maybe the narrative can easily be that Trump is a necessary evil.

Except isn't Spider-Man's alliance with Yuri supposed to be secret? He straight up says she could lose her job if they found out she was working with him.

Couldn't you also pretend this is a world where the NYPD doesn't do those things and that Spider-Man's presence makes them better people? Although that would be asking too much from someone who gets triggered from having to cooperate with fictionalized versions of real people.

Enjoyed the game. Wish there was more challenges though even on hard those taskmaster challenges are a breeze really. Also a lot of the suits seem like wasted slots.
