Good to know I can skip Alan Wake II and not worry about how lost I'll be since I haven't played Control ever, and haven't touched Alan Wake 1 in like 6 years. Also all the shit with the PC requirements.

Edit: Oh, just learning it's also EGS exclusive too? Fuck Sam Lake.

Consultants on fucking what? To make sure there aren't good looking straight white women in the game? To make sure the cock loving fags are in the game? Fuck these people.

The MJ looks a lot like Kirsten, I will say that. But it almost looks like they wanted to do Amy Adams but failed in the render so now she looks like she's on meth?

The more I hear about what's been happening since Marvel's death in 2015, the more I am glad I simply don't give a shit. None of it matters, none of it is canon and nobody can take away 50+ years of history and lore of the older comics

They know woke games won't sell unless they're a brand that prints money, so ESG gives them money by default to make up lost revenue if they make the game woke enough. The more woke the game, the bigger the bribe the studios get, so to ensure they get the most amount of money possible from ESG, they hire another studio to wokify the game for them. That's what the "consulting" is on

I feel like the entire appeal of Spider-Man got a bit buried by Raimi movies and faggots like Greg Wiessman leaning into Peter being mild mannered.

The whole point is that he’s a bit of a hot head and a loner due to life circumstances and habits. He’s raised by his elderly Aunt and Uncle who were barely making it by, but they loved him and despite his lack of opportunities in life he loved them. Him getting powers is him winning the lottery, he doesn’t need to work hard anymore he can just be an entertainer (literally he was a wrestling star of a minor wrestling association and likely to have become a bigger celebrity as time went on). Then he gets conceited and lets injustice happen and it has effects that ripple out towards him.
He decides to be a hero as an act of contrition and then until he likes it.

What is the motivation for Miles? Obsessive fan? Strong sense of Justice? He exists and there is no origin that I’ve seen that’s really that strong. He’s like a bad episode of a 90’s tv show where a producer loved nigger dick and wanted to create a “good role model”.
The movie Miles is better than the comics one, but he’s the least interesting part of his own movie. If you kept his Uncle around then the dynamic of him having a secret identity is at least entertaining.
comics Miles was kinda just there in the Ultimate Universe and has since migrated to the mainstream one. They removed all the heavyweight reasons for his shit and now he's just kinda been turned into sort of a mary sue? I did read some of the post-Secret Wars MIles being integrated into the mainstream and the funniest thing was Miles being so caught up in his superhero shit that his GF shacked up with his best friend while Miles somehow gets involved with The Vulture's Black Granddaughter.

In all honesty, he was sorta kinda best off in the Ultimate universe as he was constantly trying to fill the shoes of Spidey, but also had to deal with that Universe just being a lot darker. His mom was killed, etc. Then in Secret Wars, he was integrated into the mainstream universe with his mom being alive as a reward for giving the Molecule Man some food. Like, sure, but this doesn't really do that much for Miles. I think the kid's got the potential to be a fine character, but the writers seem to be afraid to have him go through anything for character development. Which is funny given how much they torture Peter.

I mean, they killed off Kamala Khan and all that, while making her have some tension with her older brother trying to be an increasingly conservative Muslim man as much as they could without having him go full Taliban/Goat-Rapist. Every other "young hero" they've pushed in the past decade has kinda had more character development aside from like Ironheart and Post-Secret Wars Miles. (Yes, I'm aware they kinda stopped trying to hardcore push Agents of Atlas and Champions after they got the X-Men/F4 rights back. Miles is never going to be distinct due to the problem that they've basically made him just an ordinary black kid with no family problems, no great pathos/ethos, and all that. I guess you could explain that he just wants to do good and all that, but we're just retreading early Spider-Man dynamics without the gravitas of trauma and dead family. Hell, Miles doesn't even have his own Flash Thompson equivalent. Wild.

Oh yeah I fully expect them to make Miles LGBT sometime down the line just to appease people.

One thing I find utterly bizarre about the current spiderverse is the complete and utter absence of Uncle Ben, You know, that guy who's death was the entire catalyst for Peter Parker becoming Spider Man?

What's with that? is it because he's a white dude? Is it because progressives fucking hate the idea of a strong self sacrificing father figure?

I think it’s trying to appeal to the redditor definition of altruism where Spider-man is a good fella rather than a selfish prick who revaluates himself.

@Alexander Thaut I don’t get why Miles is the official side kick. He could be entertaining if he’s the wannabe who knows toeing the line between vigilante and becoming a Supercop, but unsure of which he wants to be.

Whoever made this needs to be institutionalized.
Watching the Ponies run damage control for Soyderman 2 has been almost as hilarious as watching them seethe over the Starfield direct.

And I thought seeing the infamous Abby punching Uzaki-chan's head off picture was bad... What is it with Sony games, and lunatics drawing violent pictures of Sony characters beating up someone else?

And there's another thing for Drunkmann to seethe about, as his "OVER 200 AWARDS AND 4 MILLION COPIES SOLD" game was overtaken.

What is even the context here? It looks like AI art and Spiderman breaths in space and attacks a USA astronaut for some reason (aren't they suppose to be the I love science good guys)?

This... this explains a lot. A company founded by and run by AWFL's (Affluent White Female Liberals). No doubt a company that got its start with the help of Daddy Fink. This needs to be looked more into.
