Why reee about gay pride flags? Especially since they hired Sam "I was virtually raped in GTA" Maggs to write the DLC, and early trailers seem to imply that Black Cat was based on her likeness (though that's up for debate). Getting upset about flags seems dumb.

I honestly think the only bad thing about this game is MJ and some of the Drone Challenges and the stickiness - no pun intended - of the swinging in that regard. It just made me more aware of how clingy Spider-Man is in the game when you're trying to follow a fucking drone in its flight pattern. MJ just comes off as a total bitch and I really would have preferred Black Cat for those stealth segments. A story of her trying to actually go straight would have been nice eventually maybe leading to her embarrassing Spider-Man by stealing an artifact or two, maybe some data financial or otherwise. I like Miles, though, I really felt for him and thought he was very well done.

So... 8/10. Is pretty gud.

Spoiler: Regarding Sam Maggs

I am not looking forward to the DLC if Sam Maggs is actually a part of the writing for them. She supposedly contributed to Anthem, but I don't know why Insomniac made her a senior writer... she doesn't have enough experience for something like that and not even BioWare wanted her full time. She wrote Star Trek comics and Jem and the Holograms so you can imagine her quality of writing from looking for those. I think she actually fucked with The Holograms in the reboot, Diversity and Comics might have covered it. The rest of what she's written is typical girl power geekery trash. Cronyism is gross.

Yeah, it's not a computational downgrade, it's more a "jesus christ this is a lot of tedious bullshit" type of change in the workload of the graphics artists. Maybe Insomniac didn't have enough interns to slog through it?
Real-time ray tracing will actually(eventually) make things like that cheaper to produce if we count the cost in $ and man hours. :autism:

Beat the main story a couple days ago and currently doing side stuff.

The game overall is very solid and you can tell the people behind it really cared about it. The story was good, the combat is fluid, and it probably has my favorite interpretation of

Doc Ock to date. Between that final fight and the entire ending sequence, I definitely felt pretty emotional.

I also really like a lot of the cool little details. Being able to wave at civilians, give them high fives, take pictures with them, and even get information about nearby crimes from them really makes me the world feel alive.

I liked some of the side challenges because I've wanted a hyperautistic spiderman photography simulator for years and this is the closest they've come.

Typically I enjoy Spider-Man games, Even the ones people say are "shit". But I truly have no desire to play this one. I don't know if it's just my general boredom towards Marvel after being a fan for 30 years, if it's how fucking gay it's all got with the woman/faggot/minority pandering, or it's just the fact that the game looks no different than the last 4 or so open world Spider-Man games. Probably a combo of all three.

I fully expect the Sonyggers to prop it up as the greatest thing in gaming though in this gay ass modern console war.
