I’m looking for advice regarding our son’s name change. Which of these should my trans child pick as their new name?

Our child (11M) just came out as trans masc. We’re working on remembering new pronouns and we’re looking for gender affirming physical and mental healthcare, support, qualified experts who can answer even our most ignorant questions, etc. It’s really confusing but it’s obviously nothing compared to what he’s going through. There is some venting in the next paragraph, please bear with me.

When I was pregnant, we picked a “girl” name and a “boy” name. We ended up using the girl name and it was perfect because it means “beautiful, precious, and gentle.” Now that he’s out, he wants to choose a new name and we’re having a tough time wrapping our heads around the fact that our 11 year old is re-naming himself with little to no input from us. Not only is it a name we never would have picked in a million years, it also doesn’t have any special meaning. It’s actually the name of his "favourite admin" (his special interest is avant-garde internet forums and imageboards). He finally agreed to let us have more of a say in what name he chooses for himself, but we can only choose from a list of names which seem to be all just variations of the same admin's name? Whenever we mention that he should choose something else, he goes on a tantrum about how he will declare "Total Re###d War" on us, and how "Amerimutts" like us don't have "good cheese" (IDEK what he is trying to insinuate with that).

Is it out of line to want some more input regarding the name change? Is there a respectful, sensitive way to steer him in another direction?

If the party unfucks itself and I start getting answers instead of headless chickens running around me, then reintegration will be preferable. There are some very problematic assumptions in your post but first and foremost is the idea that choosing Null as his new name is meaningless, in fact the internet admin he's reffering to is transmasc himself and seeing someone he looks up to being openly trans is likely what inspired your son to come out to you, so not only does it have a special meaning for him, it is far more special than "beautiful, precious, and gentle".
