I talked about a little while ago in the thread but when you ran 9chan did it get spammed by the "Lolita fuck collection" bot too? Do you think there is some sort of imageboard crawler that finds smaller altchans and spams them with CP to get them taken down?
It was not a bot. It was a person who would manually edit his cp to get around fuzzy hash bans. He'd post on /b/ bragging about it.

A security exploit discovered by hackers that is virtually unknown to anyone outside of the hacker/hacker group and is unpatched. Javascript is often the vector that these attacks are executed on hardened browsers like TOR browser, though there are many other possible vectors. I think anyone using TOR for major crimes is insane or suicidal, gambling with their lives.
I don't know what that is, my point is that I don't commit crimes, don't want to, and many of us are allowed to post on KF freely without causing any trouble. Tor is not just used to "hide from the feds" and is probably useless for that.
I remember when we raided a /v/ thread once, there was a guy (from the thread it seemed) that spammed AI generated CP and quoted us all with zoomers. After that, I saw the 'fuck collection' posts.
TOR is better than VPNs. I think a lot of criminals just use an unproxied connection though.
I believe there are two groups of cp spammers on the sharty. The first tries to embed such material into soyjaks and tries to make it a part of the sites culture, these users primarily are from Discord. And the second group is the ones that run the "lolita" bots, who are primarily from 4chan.
While I can't speak as to how it is with your ISP, at the one I worked at Tor traffic was suspicious by virtue of being Tor traffic

Well, I don't have any other experience doing website stuff, so I probably would take a long time to figure that out. However, I don't think it's necessary for such a site - if it hasn't happened to the sharty, it won't happen to some splinter that's 10 times smaller. I think what you're saying is that datamining ip addresses isn't really the problem, it's using the javascript to somehow hack users(?) but I can tell you that our current roster of discordtrannies are script kiddies at best(barely even that level tbh, the basic vichan configurations stop their botspam), and anyone who's actually skilled enough to hack into people's computers through an imageboard wouldn't risk doing this highly illegal stuff just to get the data of whatever shitposting teenagers use my site. Also I run the site off a company's hosting service and I can literally just shut the server off and revert to an older snapshot if it's compromised geg.
