Plagued Soyjak.Party / The Sharty - The altchan born from the ashes of /qa/; also a containment thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I don't like the spam but the PPH increase is nice I guess.

Alright here’s my draft of the first section for the op
This is a rewrite of @cranoppwel op, this is due to the op being extremely outdated and lacking a lot of information.

What is soyjak.party?

Soyjak.party also known as the sharty or the ‘arty is one of the most popular imageboards created by Soot in 2020, it’s dedicated to the soyjak meme.

The site is known for its many memes both related to soyjaks and not to it. It is also known for its many raids.
Despite being about a niche meme that by all means should have been dead on arrival the site managed to rapidly grow in popularity with its many memes and parts of its unique culture even entering the mainstream.

The pre soy story

The soyjak meme first began in 2017 on the 4chan board /int/ the board for international discussion by the artist known simply as ‘the swede’.
The rendition which he called ‘soyak’ was an edit of the original Wojak but with a gaping mouth, a stubble and glasses to make the stereotypical look of a soyboy.

The image above is the original rendition posted by the swede which came from a thread in /int/ mocking soyboys using the Nintendo switch.
Over the years afterwards the meme would be heavily used with many other variants of the soyjak (usually traced from real people) coming afterwards. However it wouldn’t be until 2020 where the soyjak meme would change and the ‘sharty culture’ would take shape.

🔒/QA/🔒

IMG_1663.jpeg
/qa/ also called the qway is a 4chan board originally made by m00t to host 1 Q&A the board was repurposed afterwards to be a board for bitching about 4chan moderation and meta whilst also being a an off topic board.

Over time the board would be taken over by a variety of shitposting and baiting factions which often mixed and would make up the typical /qa/ culture.
In 2020 however the board would be spammed with soyjaks, this managed to stick with many of the users due to it
  • Being a low pph (low activity) board meaning anyone could realistically force something there.
  • Being a blue board (sfw board) meaning the board would not be dominated by porn threads like the other 4chan red boards (nsfw boards)
  • The native /qa/ oldfags which would seethe at new memes and especially the ‘woahjack spammers’
  • The memes and style of posting being considered funny by the inhabitants of the board.

(an instance of soyjak spam on /qa/)

On September 20th 2020 one of the soyposters Soot made soyjak.party, announcing it in a /qa/ thread.
IMG_1665.png

(Note how it says ‘basedjak.party’ this is due to a 4chan wordfilter placed earlier that year which wordfilters the word soy in hopes to stop the soyposters).

Soyjak.party during the time was closely associated with /qa/ pretty much all of its culture and posters at the time coming from that board. The site at the time was for the usual soyjak posts, soyjak oc and small scale raids usually on 4chan boards, threads and stealing GETS.

IMG_1666.pngClean stableIMG_1666.png

Operation clean stable was a prophesied event posted by a soyposting schizo that /qa/ was going to be wiped or all the soyposters would be removed. Unfortunately this schizo theory turned out to be very true…

On November 3rd /qa/ and the sharty raided 4chans /lgbt/ board with hanging troonjaks.
IMG_1667.png

The raid was very successful as it wiped the catalog with troonjaks causing a lot of seethe, unfortunately that also caused the tranny jannies to also seethe to the point that they locked the /qa/ board and deleted nearly all of the threads. Thus completing clean stable.
As of today the board only has its sticky left and all threads have been wiped.IMG_1668.jpeg
In the aftermath there was of course attempts from the ‘jakkers and /qa/ to try and get the Jannies to give them their board back however these failed thus forcing the /qa/ posters to take refuge in the sharty…

Overall very solid work, but there are some minor flaws I noticed while reading, mainly grammatical.
one of the most popular English imageboards created by Soot in 2020
Add a comma after imageboard otherwise you're saying that Soot created multiple English imageboards in 2020 and the Sharty is only one of them.
The site is known for its many memes both related to soyjaks and not to it.
Remove the "to it" at the end, it sounds weird to use "it" in relation to the plural form of something, "both related to soyjaks and not" sounds fine.
with its many memes and parts of its unique culture even entering the mainstream.
Change this to say "with many of its memes"; saying "with its many memes... entering the mainstream" implies that every meme on the sharty enters the mainstream.
The soyjak meme first began in 2017 on the 4chan board /int/ the board for international discussion by the artist known simply as ‘the swede’.
Capitalize Swede and add commas after /int/ and discussion to make the sentance flow easier. Also, change this part to either say "was begun on the 4chan board..." OR "and was created by the artist..."
a stubble
Remove the "a"
Over the years afterwards
This is redundant, choose one and remove the other, I'd personally stick with afterwards.
where the soyjak meme and the ‘sharty culture’ would take shape.
"that the soyjak meme and 'Sharty culture'"
Seems weird to capitalize /qa/ when its generally lowercase, including in your section header.
/qa/ also called the qway
Kway is more common used than qway so it seems weird not to include it.
board originally made by m00t to host 1 Q&A the board was repurposed afterwards
Put a comma after Q&A.
a board for bitching about 4chan moderation and meta whilst also being a board for while also being an off topic board.
Change the last part to "whilst also being used as an off topic board". Maybe also clarify that meta means meta discussion.
would make up the typical /qa/ culture.
This part is a little awkward since it implies that there are multiple "/qa/ cultures".

Thumbnail your image or however Null's clitty leaks.

This reads a little awkwardly, maybe change it to something like "was an event prophesied by a soyposting schizo".

very successful with causing a lot of seethe,
Remove the "with".
unfortunately that also caused
Change "that" to "it".
In the aftermath there was of course attempts
Change "was" to "were". I'd also add a sentance or two about why Soyclipse failed, what it taught soyteens about planning future raids, and the /s4s/ get.

What happened to Reiko in the end? Did he get killed already, arrested or is he in hidding using discord alts?

Searched google and saw no arrest records
Coberald already answered that. Dude is long gone and is most likely under a new username with a new house address. They did try sending the police but couldn't find him.
