I bring everyone this special write up (101 pages, APC destroyed mission acomplished!) of what troons used to be called on the RP servers before the mass insanity broke out into the open (it was bubbling underneath a veneer of normalcy) around the time post-inaugration of Orange Man Jesus mecha Hitler.

Origin of the term "SSL"

The term SSL used to refer to the following (all degragatory) meanings:
"Suicidal Space Lesbian"
"Special Slit Licker"
"Snowflake Space Lesbian"
et al.

Evidence it was actually used in conversation.

These meanings all used to refer to the clique of players on HRP servers, namely Bay, Aurora, (maybe?) Paradise, who would play as female characters who were only interested in interacting with other "women" on the server. Generally, they would have a green text (in terms of flavor text) of pages worth of lore, custom artwork, PICK ME, and generally an insufferable cunt which would have been put down in better days of yore. As anyone reading this thread would know, there are no few true and honest women in the history of the game. Most of you in the thead can probably infer, these "women" would eventually reveal themselves to be groomed sex pests, troon out, and become lunatics like PJB or MSO.

Now, back to the story. The origin of bay skills had to do with SSLs. Because Bay (and some other servers) had a cold civil war between the alliance of "muh realisim" RP playerset, those who played their ultra special snowflake gigachad 7' ligger (or anthro race of choice), against the robust, stronk 5'1" cute women who were only intresting in banging other women in discord RP off server.

Another insance of SSLs was Lebenstraum (not to be confused with the ERP server Tannhauser's Gate). Lebenstraum, was a TDM combat focused server in the same vein of CM or Esclation 1984. However, the server was originally split off of Ava's Battlegrounds, itself a fork "stolen" from Mattoks (Sane ss13 coder any%)'s Interstation 2 and CM. Lebenstraum was an extreme RP server in the vein of lifeweb. This include things like Japanese POW death camps, eternal wheraboo drama, civilian massacres, somehow predicted the SMO/Russo Ukranian war (iirc ww2 Banderites were a playable faction lmao), rape (Supposedly, I have no hard evidence), and women being mechanically lesser than men in the game.
There was a coder/min in the server called Harcourt (?). Harcourt was a mysoginist. He coded women to have less physical strength then men because he kept getting his unrobust ass handed to him and was upset about women winning like MSO. Like with most insane ss13 staff, he could not deduce the logic that his unrobustness that was causing this, promptly after this patch, he had his ass handed to him by a player playing a female, banned them, and more or less imploded the server.

Harcourt was also known for spawning in a dog named named after a jojo reference and fucking with the playerbase.

Didn't one of them split off the server because the host was a huge Trooncock-sucking Redditor faggot? When it got more popular than the original server, both /r/ss13 and the host bitched.

A host (?not sure how many hosts Leben had) was the world server host, cassidy. Who was also the host of the Auroa station Apartment server, which got ended over ERP drama.
I don't recall the other hosts name, but he was a sperg too. After he shut down the server Cassidy brought Lebenstraum up on a semi-regular interveral for a bit.

This server has been absolute trip the few times I've got to play despite all the drama faggotry. It was basically a better Civ13, where you could actually wage wars without a trannyjanny stepping in every five seconds to stop you from having too much fun. Instead, they stepped in every 10 minutes.

I really wish there were more of those prison gamemodes/servers, that shit is absolute gas. Civ13 in particular has a Soviet prison gamemode where, if you're robust enough, you can break out and find a fucking tank stationed nearby, rebuild it and shell the fuck out of the guards. Some of my best memories related to that spergy server come from prison maps.

Thanks for making the last year of my life full of !!FUN!! stories and unforgettable misadventures, everyone! Without all of you and the novel interactions we shared, I would've succumbed to the dullness of offline life and not have lasted half this long; unfortunately, as with all nice things, my saga concludes here. As much as I'd love to keep increasing my round counter forever, I realize that my time would come sooner or later. Lifeweb is truly a game like no other, and I wish Randy Sandy, the Mastermaker, the best of luck as He continues to craft and curate this incomparable theater of misery and improvisation. Dunno why, but there's something gut wrenching about seeing someone that's only 18 years old nonchalantly talking about taking their life like they're leaving their job. Especially just because they don't want to deal with potential hardships that come later in life. Not even because things have been particularly rough up to that point, he's just bored? What's worse is they don't even mention their family and the fact that they're leaving those people as well. Imagine raising a child for 18 years and spending countless hours and dollars to make them happy, and they just kill themselves because they don't feel like living anymore; like a spoiled child throwing their toys down and walking away. The fact that at 18 he can so confidently assume that it won't get better than that and just ending it is probably one of the most selfish and fallacious reasons I've ever heard someone kill themselves for. Bro got a game over on the first level of Suicidal Ideation. It makes me wonder if it was from SSRIs or something because that's a pretty common side effect, it basically blunts the emotional part of your brain that gets worried and considers repercussions when you think about suicide, and deadens your impulse control so you start thinking it's a valid choice.
