As iconically deranged as MSO is he's just one of many; and mainly the only one to show his (ugly) face here, if the likes of purlek/foxmcloud were to ever register accounts I imagine the results would be much the same. Yeah this one is about his ban, new PC and it not working properly, reinstalling windows, how reinstalling windows seemed to clear his Space Station ban history somehow (or something along those lines).
Seems he has a few chat interactions. My russian is rusty and he speaks with a slight lisp, maybe nervous speaking to an audience, but sounds native and still talks fast.

Russians: Children and ERPers. Lots of funny drama but very little makes it over or can be understood by a non-Russian speaker.
Goob & EE: They're alright. Still a bit AIDS sometimes but more similar to SS13 room temperature. Probably the only reason to have any hope.
Delta V, Floof, etc. : There's 100 gorillion furry ERP servers where nothing happens in the game and it's basically just child grooming discord paradise. These actually make Wizden (the servers) look okay by comparison and serve as a reminder that it can always get worse.
Hullrot: Was cool for like 2 weeks, constantly exploding.
RMC: This is actually ran by the wizden zoophile sex pest and some people don't realize that. One of its admins is also a furaffinity global admin.
Private servers: They're all literally just private furry grooming clubs even if they have a reputation for being a bit chuddy. Remember that 90% of the "chuds" flying around is just inter-tranny infighting. There is no party active at all similar to Hippie, Rivera, Sharty, etc.
Other forks: Fall on the spectrum between Goob and Delta V. This entire game is pozzed top to bottom so keep in mind how narrow the spectrum is.

I don't want to out myself too much, but the SS14 climate outside of Wizden have the exact same issues that Wizden is plagued with. (Troons, Moral High ground culture, and Sex pests.) Only that they want to be in control, or keep the rules more loose so they can not be involved with Wizden's Ego Derangement.
It's a sad state of affairs that biggest detractors are Transgender/ERP cock suckers that are only against Wizden, because of being banned from the Hub from some Discord Drama. Similar servers meta-groups, such as Einstein Engine/Goob/Singularity (depending if the moderators want to be normal people that day) have the exact same issue with their insufferable moral politics that makes interaction insufferable, and only mildly more tolerable than Wizden in terms of actually having any fun in game.
There's not a lot of hope to capture the similar SS13 feeling you might have gotten, despite how late I played SS13. (Around ~2014) From the people I met there's very few who understand the main issues with the game, but agree that the Hub should be moderated based on legality, and Spam, not whatever gay drama they have against people.
There's very few people who have my perspective of too many furries who want to play as their persona, and Trannies having too much power to sperg out being the main issues. Due to how SS13, and SS14 kind of being distillation of the internet as a whole, it does explain why the entire community is filled with porn addicted rejects who need the game to be a Second Life ripoff.
Otherwise, I don't think there's a server remotely close to Kiwistation or any old SS13 community in terms of general atmosphere in SS14, because of a lack of content, and the rules being retarded fag slop. Any good server that gets popular is going to be dehubbed under the guise of spreading hate, or not following a rule they pretend to care about. Pretty much killing any traction for anybody who doesn't want to play it the way PJB, Dr Smug, etc decides is best for their player base.
And, all the "chuds" you see are porn addicted autists who pretend to be "cool", good potential for milk in some of them if they weren't so hidden in their furry grooming rings.

The latter. There are still very underground servers that kick this shit to the curb while not being on the opposite spectrum of retardation. Interstation12 is one of the only good servers left on SS13.
