Let's look at views. Red is AGDQ 2025 pink is SGDQ 2025, and white is AGDQ 2026. The line on the bottom is YouTube views, because in a desperate struggle for relevancy, the organizers have decided to branch out to a different platform in the middle of the event. Could it be because their relevancy on Twitch has diminished so badly that even a roach infested hobo like Asmongold had more viewers than them? Seems likely.

But as we all know, GDQ is no longer about bringing entertainment to as much viewers as possible. It's about spamming donations with "trans rights" as the message so that a leaflet printing organization can prevent cancer, or to bring in as much migrant boats when it's summer. And how did they fare in that regard?

Oh, they didn't even raise 2.5 million... but surely it can't be a huge downfall from AGDQ25 and SGDQ25? (Yes they privated the finale of SGDQ25 because of Shayy :story:)

Given that SGDQ events were always less profitable than AGDQ I think we mustly sadly declare this a failure aswell.

Oh well... Let's just move on to the shenanigans.

Fire Alarm has been pulled TWICE this event, first during the Final Fantasy X run...

...and a second one during the final run.

Speaking of the final run, even ignoring the fire alarm that halted it for over 30 minutes, the run was a disaster. Stalling for donations? Check. Bending the rules? Sure, why not. Did it still go overestimate? Of course! At least the fact it's not Undertale lowers the risk of a google doc releasing in the future. Then again, even if a doc will be released, nothing of value will be lost.

And that's pretty much it. GDQ is predictable: they'll keep catering to trannies, donations and viewers will keep dropping until they're dead, and since most people are surprised this keeps going, nobody will care.

Next major event is ESA Winter 2026 (There's also BSG in like a week but that's very niche). Will BigJon finally arrive? Will they keep importing the worst aspects of GDQ? Will Cave Story finally get a run? Tune in February 6th - 14th to find out!

Fuck GDQ and trannies but I can't understand the mindset or angle of being against Doctors Without Borders. It's one of the very few noble causes still left in this world. Whatever you may think of the recipients of the endeavour's efforts, the doctors involved in such a program are shining representations of the human spirit. Very nigger-brained to shit on that tbh.

Weird game to speed run though. You’d be just clicking through texts and moving through static screens selecting the right options as fast as possible to…get to the next static screens/text box? The audience is too young to know what is going on so it is just going to be random journey through an office to a car with a weird lady in a trunk then whoa random mugging and then sewer alligator and oh shit why are we breaking into someone’s bedroom?

Good writeup.
This event is so depressing, I really liked the core idea of runners explaining runs while doing them live and I have enjoyed a few of these events in the past before it got too fucked up with all the tranny shit.
Now its just been sad and gay. It can't die soon enough.
