how is it possible not to see these big events packed full of these faggot freaks and not get supremely demoralized at the state of things?
This is an auditorium's worth of people lining up to see them play. Go to a typical college campus and you will realize the total sum of normal people, beautiful white normal people, far exceed the total global tranny population.

The money donated is the total collective expendable income generated by trannies across the entire world. It's enough to franchise a single American grocery store. These people are not power brokers.

As far as I can tell, there hasn't been any injection of corpo stuff or ads. I've mostly just been watching them on youtube and it feels a lot more grassroots than whatever GDQ has become. If you ask me, it's definitely the lesser evil and I'd take corpo over troonery anyway.

I have never seen a chinese runner on anything. Even looking through the official speedrunning website, a lot of records are mostly dominated by NA, EU and JP with maybe an occasional Taiwanese thrown in there somewhere.

The lack of Koreans is surprising to me as well, given their hyper autistic obsession with video games, i.e. how they made Starcraft Brood War into a Korean national sport at one point. But then again, Korean players/teams only get good when there's money, playerbase, and Government support for it, since they only have large presence in a few games (League of Legends, Brood War, Tekken), but don't have as much presence in other games.

Been years since I watched GDQ. All the runners, tranny or not, are just insufferable and have been for a very long time. I remember one guy, a britfag named Punchy who ran Silent Hill and was the donation reader for several other runs. He said on his own channel he purposely avoided reading out comments about cancer survivors or relatives dealing with it, because "It would bring down the mood". What a fucking cunt, the entire purpose of the event is to fundraise for cancer support, Besides being a tranny coolaid drinker, he also has some lovely narcissistic comments not including chat on his vods because "it's not about them".

Some other funny shit I remember, was the back-to-back showing of BLM and Stop Asian Hate messages. Like bro, look at the statistics of who does crime against Asians lmao.

If you're like me and get energy out of awful, embarrassing troon shit, be sure to check out Split Fiction, my personal pick for worst run of the marathon. An hour long "showcase" of the game's side content (AKA: not a speedrun at all) ran by a true and honest Mexican female and a not-even-trying tier AGP who constantly spouts shit about the game being "yuri." Try to make it to the halfway point, when the woman out of nowhere goes on an extended rant about how the POC character is turned into a horse while the white character isn't and game devs need to do better while the entire room sits in awkward silence.

This is from an AGDQ from quite a while ago:
Qapla'!

Saw someone mention the absolute gold that was the Bonesaw Jax run.

This is who you want at your event. Entertaining runner, a great couch to play off of, and in-jokes that evolve with the run. The seething from the tranny janny staff was great too.
Bonesaw was banned for life due to this run too, just to show how no fun allowed the event has become.

Fuck GDQ and trannies but I can't understand the mindset or angle of being against Doctors Without Borders. It's one of the very few noble causes still left in this world. Whatever you may think of the recipients of the endeavour's efforts, the doctors involved in such a program are shining representations of the human spirit. Very nigger-brained to shit on that tbh.
Yeah it's good that they're providing entertainment on all fronts while supporting Doctors Without Borders.
It's a win for everyone. Charity gets a cut, we get to laugh at the skilled male players and enjoyers of it gets to watch the collection of "hers" playing. ;)

FUCK THE OSCARS AND FUCK GDQ!

Troon fad is not profitable anymore. How much longer till people in charge run for the lifeboats i wonder

Correct answer - Mindwave (a random troonslop game no one heard about #ad)

WHY ARE THEY SPEEDRUNNING GAMES THAT AREN'T EVEN OUT YET???

Personally I was a big fan of the TAS runs they had at GDQ every so often. There's something oddly satisfying about seeing multiple frame perfect techniques. The Brain Age one was a classic for me:

Other than that, the only other one I still remember was the Sonic '06 run, mainly because of how broken the game was and how every run is guaranteed to have at least one random softlock

Lastly I'm sure this has been posted before but this clip will never not be funny to me:

You forget a lot of this shit was never really "profitable" and more pushed top-down by big companies and people connected to big money people for the last decade sucking in more and more useful idiots and enforcers because the prime end game is to make sure something like OWS never happens again.

Speedrunning is the type of thing that was kind of interesting back in 2014 or so, now it's just stale. I stopped watching Mario 64 runs because it's like, people competing to shave off 1 minute TOPS, it's not really all that interesting to watch, it's more interesting to watch a video of someone that understands code explaining how a certain exploit works, why X is in the game etc.
That being said, i wonder if speedrunning will make a comeback in the future. It seems to me like it should, maybe just have to wait for the people who grew up with PS4s to want to watch runs of their favorite games, idk.

“Girl gamer” is pretty much just codespeak for tranny. Just like how you know “Young teenagers involved with armed robbery” pretty much just means niggers.

I remember when 'gamer girl' just meant an actual real young woman fishing for attention by playing Zeldo or whatever.
Boy, things sure went downhill.

"in order to stay relevant, GDQ has come up with a new charity competition! Stepping out of the big screen and into real life, introducing: LKDQ, or Little Kids Done Quick!
Watch as the Catholic Church pits it's most notorious priests against the LGTV trannies and extremist Muslims, in a competition which includes their favorite past time: little kids! It's sure going to stay relevant for years to come!

Oh and it's all for charity so if you don't donate you hate trans people -- and children, we guess..." - AGDQ coming soon™

I never see anything about these speed running events on Reddit anymore. Most video game news doesn't get attention nowadays. Nobody wants to post about them as much after they lost the woke culture wars.
That's because nobody there ever gave a shit about games, gamers, speedrunning, or anything adjacent to it. They cared only about "social justice" shit and being able to call "bad people" names.

Yeah, the technical aspects of it are still interesting, and I can even still find entertainment in seeing somebody finally succeed in cutting 8 frames off a run after trying hundreds or thousands of times, because there's a wholesome charm to the kind of happiness they feel at that moment. And there's still something fun(ny) about watching lots of autists come together to try to break games with controllers. It's just that the in-person stuff stopped being fun when it got flooded with trannies and the requisite "no fun allowed" rules immediately followed.

But the code and techy side of it is much more interesting to me, largely because you end up learning so much random shit about games (and their original hardware) that's only being explained to help understand a specific glitch or whatever, but you wind up finding out wild shit like "the neutral zone in Yar's Revenge isn't actually random, but rather a visualization of every other 4-bit word of raw data read from a part of the cartridge ROM (because it was faster than generating random numbers), and the programmer who did it had to fight tooth-and-nail to convince his manager that he wasn't 'giving away the game code' by displaying it that way."

For programmers like me, that kind of out-of-the-box thinking is inspiring and gets the brain grinding in very satisfying ways. That particular kind of innovation isn't necessarily useful anymore, but it serves to remind me that there is almost always another (potentially better) way to do something, no matter how tight and lean you think your algorithm is. Somehow that specific example also helps keep my head screwed on straight in terms of "premature optimization" for some reason, too. Dude writing Yar's Revenge didn't bother fucking around with it until it became necessary (running out of cartridge space and seeing sub-par performance), and by the time it did, the solution practically jumped out at him because it made a lot of sense.
