Looks like this will be dropping tomorrow and I’m kinda hyped. I really liked the original Dark Multiverse stories and I’m interested to see these new ones.

i'm a lil disappointed that the premise isn't what I thought it was.

What could lead Bruce Wayne to become Hush? Thomas Elliot wanted to kill his parents, Tommy in this story was there when Bruce's parents died.

first place my brain went was Tommy orchestrated Joe Chill to get his parents killed but the Waynes were killed instead. Bruce eventually finds out and goes Hush.

but from the previews it doesn't seem like that's where it's going?

That’s funny, because I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Like practically word-for-word.

I think it’ll be revealed later on that the Elliot’s were jealous of the Waynes or perhaps one of the Waynes was cheating with one of the Elliots and threatened to come out about, either of which could lead to the Elliots wanting the Waynes dead.

I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t know a single person on this planet that uses “gal pal” unironically besides CWC.

i like tom taylors writing, i've read a lot of his stuff, Injustice, Suicide Squad, DCeased, I've even considered reading his spider-man run. with all of that said, i uh, don't like his Rise and Fall Constantine comic.

iunno, it just doesn't seem like Hellblazer to me. It has some good moments, but I'm tired of the whole "THIS story is about the FIRST spell Constantine EVER cast" that's only been done 6 times before and no one has done it better than Jamie Delano did, if you're writing a Constantine story and your premise is to focus entirely around a magical mcguffin then you've missed the point of the character.

also the fact Tom Taylor apparently doesn't know the difference between Lucifer and the First of the Fallen drives me fucking insane.

Morrison's clearly non-binary because it's the equivalent exchange for his magic and occultism.

Anyways I tend to not give a shit about a person's identity politics if I find their work enjoyable. Morrison doesn't seem to be the type to make everything about identity politics so it seems fine enough to not care.

There's a lesson in this for a lot of the current gen comics personalities/artists/whatever that keep getting memed on. If your work is enjoyable and you don't get obnoxious about identity politics, there's a greater chance people will move along with it.

oh yeah Morrison wrote that Supergods book too. Pretty decent reading tbh.

Grant Morrison came out as non-binary which.......I mean......why?
Non binary much like queer, is fake. Its not real. Grant prefer they them pronouns
Good for them.

personally, I don’t give a fuck about real or fake genders. As long as you aren’t hurting others or yourself, identify as whatever you want.

But moving on from that, when the fuck are we getting another Secret Six book?
