Splatoon 2 only delivered in the DLC expansion. It was phenomenal. You know how the single player mode is supposed to be a tutorial for the online mode? That DLC felt like it was the single player mode taking you seriously and throwing interesting challenges at you. Nintendo games have recently been kinda cucked in regards to it's difficulty (cue "reee it's for kids it's supposed to be easy") but I remember when I was a kid some games were a challenge. That DLC brought the challenge back and I loved it. Also the 80s vibe rocked.

Agree. I screamed a lot of gamer words but it was great.

The game looks great. The only issue I have is the new designs for characters. Splatoon 1 & 2 had great character designs for the side characters, but this one seems much weaker. Other than the Big Man, none of the designs are looking great to me.

Also, please tell me Pearl and Marina are not completely trashed. I don’t remember seeing them in the video, but I was not paying super close attention so I may have missed them.

Frye's design reminds me of those 2000s anime girl designs with the alien-like heads and downturned eyes

How is the single player? I like the multiplayer but I really only buy the game for the campaign mode.

Is the final boss good again like the first game? They kinda dropped the ball with Spla2oon.

I liked the single player campaign as it felt more inline with the first game, though that’s just my opinion.

It was better than 2. I'm not sure versus the Octo expansion. I wasn't challenged much in the campaign and I've heard people complain that there's difficulty spikes.

I haven't played the multiplayer much as of now.
