I don’t have a problem with the redesign itself... it’s actually pretty neat I’ll always prefer the classic my problem is the reason the redesign happened
 
Only problem I see is that since she has spats on she won't have that epiphany on the stairs, nothing big. Also, after that Persona 5 song bullshit they're definitely changing what Tifa calls Barrett.

What? Tifa has always been a notorious titcow. Virtually all official art portrays her this way. Numerous games have also given her jiggle physics on her chest to convey this (something other characters never receive.)

And let's be honest: they're not selling a niche fetish game. They want a T rating and they're not gonna get it with excessive jiggle.

If you want boobalicious Tifa, I'm sure there will be mods that allow you to play that. Hell, there'll be mods to let you play with all the women stark naked and with massive horsecocks if that's what you can't live without. Or Cloud, stark naked and with massive boobs.

What I'm saying is, use an actual joystick, noobs.

I was actually wondering during the E3 reveal, "Are they going to fuck up Tifa?" Then I saw her and oh, no she's fine. Because yeah, she's supposed to be flipping everywhere and doing crazy acrobatic shit, boobs the size of her head and no bra would either mean she'd look like a doll as they unnaturally stay in place while she's moving, or they'd be flying around smacking her in the face.

Its more in line with 15 but they went out of their way to say that each attack is done by an individual press of a button instead of the hold to attack nonsense that was going on in 15. Apparently the guy who was in charge of the combat for KH2 is going to be handling it for the remake.

I believe much of the staff that worked on Kingdom Hearts 2 was moved to FF7R, including the main combat planner, so it could still be good. It's been well over a decade since KH2FM though so I'm still cautious.

From what I've seen of both of them, this looked better than 15. The fact you can control any character and coordinate in some manner makes it better than 15, which isn't that high of a bar according to anyone I've ever seen talk about 15, but it is there.

If it is being headed by the person who made the only KH game worth playing, KH2, then I don't think hope is lost yet. I quite liked what I saw and I didn't give 2 fucks about the game to begin with, I also hold no deep attachment to the original 7 and I think standard turn based is boring, so maybe I'm biased in that regard.
