I've been addicted to reading this thread for the last 2 days and despite only reading the highlights I'm 1/12 of the way through because of how horrific the end results of these butcherings end up. There might be something seriously wrong with me after being exposed to the abyss for this long.

I understand that it's because of mental illness, but why is nobody looking for a surgeon that can fucking cut a straight line and attempt to make their neo-parts look symmetrical? Is a puss fulled hole that is permanently swollen on the right side really so much better than the genitals that they already had? Atleast they were fully functional and could provide a decent orgasm (the one thing these lunatics are after in the first place), but if they bothered to do their research then they would find out that anything sexual after SRS ether feels like nothing due to nerve damage or is extremely painful.

Long term? The short answer is no.

They take a piece of the colon, not anything involved with the sphincter muscles (which do affect your ability to shit) unless your surgeon was super retarded and damaged that area. They recovery will affect your shitting ability, soft stool only but it will heal eventually. Can't imagine its pleasant. That doesn't mean you are out of the woods for the usually complications like bleeding, infection, sepsis etc. which could damage the colon more, but its minimized if everything is done correctly. Let me put it this way, its one battle to reattach part A to B, its war to make it look aesthetically pleasing.

They remove parts of your intestines for cancer, hell you can even undo a vasectomy these days. Its crazy but works. Modern medicine is simultaneously fascinating and horrifying.

IIRC earlier in this thread there is a horror study about the loose colon vagina getting serious symptoms of diverticulitis and IBS with pain and inflammation as an unforeseen consequence of abusing your body and putting parts where they're not supposed to go. Yes, it's an absolutely tried and true procedure at this point, performed probably thousands of times daily, and will only grow in importance and safety as populations age, but it is not without great risks. You are, even in the least intrusive methods, exposing a significant biohazard to the rest of the body. Even a microscopic perforation of the bowel can result in a slow, painful death. Most patients undergoing the procedure are also elderly as that's when issues with the bowel are most likely to present themselves, which creates further risks. Even youngins who have undergone the surgery don't have a good time.

The fact that this is done for a non-essential "cosmetic" surgery, let alone that people volunteer for it, never ceases to shock and amaze me.

I’ve been recovering from surgery for 4 1/2 weeks now. I can slightly bend my leg now making it easier to sit for about 10min til i have to go back to having it extended. It’s hard to walk at a decent pace but I feel myself getting stronger. The incisions are healing great. I just have an infected area. Smells awful but i’m getting an ointment called Santyl delivered to help the area heal. Dr. Gabriel Del Corral and his PA Dr. Andrew Podge have been very respectful, kind, uplifting, and they make me feel herd. The wing i was in during recovery was for trans/queer patients of his and the staff there were amazing. Honestly they were super sweet and respectful. I kinda miss them haha. I have glansplasty scheduled in 2 weeks. I didn’t have UL because i didn’t get electrolysis (money probs) but he assured me it could be done after I had electrolysis completed.
When that happens Dr. Venkatesan, the urologist, will work with him on my plans for the vaginectomy, connecting the uretheras, and scrotoplasty. He’s also a kind and respectful man.
I’m open to any questions yall may have if any. I was skeptical of Dr. Del Corral because of the photos he used on his website in the past that weren’t his. But I didn’t have much of an option and I don’t regret it at all. I’m really happy with how it came out and my experience with him and Medstar hospital.
Btw my top surgery was done by Dr. Desoulas in Kensington, MD. She’s great.
