Don't bother. Sometimes a link is shared on /v/ but admins are tipped off and they actively ban non-patrons.
Also the discord is full of teenagers trying way too hard to be funny.

The first Sseth video I saw was his 360 No Scope Farming Sim one, which was funny, so I subbed but then he made nothing but LoL videos for ages so I unsubbed, only to find him again later when he started his reviews and no he's really blowing up. Good for him.

Anyone who posts in this thread must show proof of owning Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and 3.

I actually bought Might and Magic 1-7 off GOG after watching his review of 6. Finished 6; had a grand time, even if it was bumpy at parts, as expected of an older CRPG. Strategy games aren't really my thing. It didn't really occur to me that there are a lot of people who don't know about the big cult classics like VTM:B or God Hand, so it's nice to see he's helping to give them more attention.

The only downside to Sseth is that every time he makes a video about a relatively obscure game there's going to be that fucking jackoff in your social circle that watches him, and then starts talking about it as if they've been playing it for years, making references to it and shit. I've seen it happen with multiple people already and every time it's obvious that they only started caring about it because Sseth told some humorous stories about it and not because they actually have any personal experience.

Basically what I'm upset about is fake gamer girls except they're not girls

sseth's lol zany dwarf fortress stories and all the footage is ripped off from other df let's players like kruggsmash. he added partial credit in the description after he was immediately called out for it (see the now deleted comment.) krugg was smart enough to let it slide in exchange for the exposure.

sseth could just give credit where he takes his content and not be a poser pretending to play everything, but what do I know, I'm not running a patreon.

Meh. Games tend to rot without some fresh blood every once in awhile.

The funny thing is I've watched BlackPantsLegion's SS13 videos for years now and was just considering getting into actually playing the game, but then Sseth's video came out and I saw how unfriendly most of the servers were towards newcomers. Noped right out of there. I observed a couple games but I doubt I could learn it all fast enough to avoid the banhammer for being too clueless.
