To be fair she was always great at the roasts, but her stand up was basically just:

"Hey guys... Nigger." *thunderous laughter and applause*

It was basically just her artlessly reading from the "Ethnic Jokes" section of a Blanche Knott's Truly Tasteless Jokes book. The humorless yang to Hannah Gadsby's humorless yin.

Now it looks like she lost a bunch of weight and has been riding that as a career for the last decade, calling herself the "former queen of mean." I guess I don't blame her since the writing was on the wall for her kind of humor and she would absolutely not get booked for shows at most places anymore, and certainly not Comedy Central spots. Though I'd say the only thing keeping her from getting cancelled now is the fact that nobody cares about her anymore and that she looks like a blue haired diesel dyke, so it's like camouflage and nobody is the wiser.

I see this chick Sasha Rosser on the front page of Reddit every day and I always suspect she pays for bots to get there. She's ridiculously unfunny and can't handle criticism.

I have never seen or heard this person speak, but it strikes me as a delivery thing.

If I imagine Jimmy Carr saying these lines, I can find it funny. The third one goes past the point of funny and should have just been left at "is not the response they are looking for". It's a perfectly fine one-liner.

The joke is there. It just seems like the wrong person delivering the line.

like i said somewhere on this site, women comedians are better off being strippers in some midwest town instead, if Chrissie was 2 decades younger and didn't want to disappoint her parents who are dying in some retirement home she would have done it by now, she has enough stripper friends. its too bad she's gotten so famous (relatively) for her Q stuff. pandering to Q probably fucked her in some ways, but overall shes doing better than she was 5 years ago, pre-podcasts she was barely an open micer with a weird amount of perversion and sex jokes even for a woman comedian.

I will say Random is amazing just for being the only comedian to call out Judd Apatow and other famous comics for being dogshit. Trevor Noah straight up said any comedian that performs at the Stand is a nazi, and every NYC comedian that performed at the Stand just let him do it. they allowed the Creek&Cave to get destroyed by bad press too. Random has done more for the comedy community than anyone the past decade, and he's just an open micer.

Uncle Roger is definitely milking it at this stage. Last I saw the dude was critiquing a guy cooking Indian food. What, are you the moral arbiter of all Asian food now? Whether or not an Indian meal is cooked well is decided now by a diaspora Malay?

Back on topic, I wouldn't call Stewart Lee a lolcow but he's an obnoxious self-absorbed prick and is an inspiration for many of this current generation of lolcow comics.

Apologies for the double post, but earlier I said Stewart Lee wasn't a lolcow; I've changed my mind. Earlier this year he wrote a blog where he made a list of everyone he hated, which included a literal no-named comedian who made a couple of tweets criticising him that got next to no engagement, but Lee evidently saw it and put him in his hate list along with the Taliban.

Been doing my annual Mr. Show marathon and man, Sarah Silverman is just "there". I can't recall a skit she was in or a character she played, unlike say Mary Lynn Rajskub who I wish appeared more (and at least made a cameo in Run Ronnie Run).

You hit the nail on the head with Steve-O. Maybe it's because I only watched clips and also him whoring his comedy tour, that I just don't find him funny. His routine is like a tragic clown who's main routine is about how many drugs he's done and their affects on him.

Yeah I remember her TV show an in the end it was just a woman trying too hard to "be one of the boys" with edgy jokes and gross out shit. I guess the gimmick was is it's coming from a girl instead of a dude.

I think Kaitlyn Olson is one of the few who can that kind of humor but the joke is usually because her attempts backfires.

I'll go to bat and say there are funny women, it's just that they never get the attention the loud humorless ones get.

Fan of Joan River's for instance. Her telling old people to get the fuck out kills me everytime.

she was whoring herself out to comics since she was 18. She technically has more stand up experience than David Chapelle. her body at 40+ is bad, but who's isn't? I'm sure she was great when she was younger and looked more like a monkey

from what i remember listening to podcasts she was on pre-fame, she's MADtv funny but not SNL funny. Like she truely would shine doing racist sterotypes for jokes, the mexican Debra Wilson. she's also pretty hot. If GAS Digital ever got the chance to do a sketch show she should hop on. (of course i felt the same way about Trevor Noah's pre america stuff.)
