Pretty sure this crusty blue fossil came out of one of the TOS movies. Wasn’t the president though, just some background admiral. Always baffled me how every Andorian on that show looked like Victor Meldrew got dunked in windshield washer fluid.

actually pretty good Red Dwarf, like, better than a lot of weaker seasons, really felt like the show unless you want to be hyperpurist like S1 style nothing in the universe
AND it mostly managed to carry a movie-style narrative with Red Dwarf

To be fair, there are lots of examples of licensed works in other IPs being good and bad. Some Star Wars licensed shit is good, like Kyle Katarn stories, while other is not so good, like Luke Skywalker's evil twin.
