Star Trek - Space: The Final Frontier

STO adds a one-nacelle ship from one episode of Strange New Worlds to the gamble boxes.

I see what you did there.

"Commanding hot" sounds an awful lot like Dommy Mommy. Only beta simps want a dommy mommy. The true Chad choice is the QT3.14 tomboy gf which is the best you could get out of a Trill since I doubt anyone of their race could ever be tradwife material.

Which race produces the best tradwife? Bajorans, Cardassians, Ferengi?
Klingons and Vulcans. They'll both kill you in the bedroom and autistically screech if you fall behind on your chores.

I still wanna wrestle with Jadzia and lose my space money in Tongo against her, and have Ezri sitting my lap and play Mario Kart while we shitpost about how long the Klingon Empire might last until the inevitable civil war happens.

That is almost a perfect way to describe their appeal.

Jadzia is the one you want to wrestle with, Ezri is the one you want to sit on your lap.

Now the real question is who's port do you plug into? Seven of Nine or Andrea?

I give the edge to TOS. Full artificial beats even some meatbags every time (no matter how glorious they may be)

There's obviously no real scientific reason, but it does seem like whenever an enemy ship powers weapons or raises shields, it's instantly called out by Sulu/Data/Whoever. So perhaps the radiation from weapons and shields is just too much of a dead giveaway.

Plenty of stuff contradicts this, but whatever. Star Trek's technology is on the whole inconsistent, but it's just consistent enough to where nerds can argue about this stuff. A somewhat unfortunate middleground.

I always thought it was an energy field that bend light around it so you couldn't see the ship, but the gravity from the ship still affected objects around it, hence them being able to track the direction cloaked ships were moving and raising shield or firing energy weapons disrupted the field so that was why cloak didn't work on those things. In Star Trek six the ship that could fire while cloaked still need to decloak for a split second and could only fire torpedoes and not energy weapons.

At least that is how I always looked at it based on the shows I grew up watching.

I thought it was ships run on charged plasma from the warp core funneled through manifolds throughout the ship, and that much energy can be detected when circuits open and close to power various systems.

Note how only the torpedo launcher decloaked during the firing sequence. So, that's maybe 50-100 m2 of target (estimated from the visuals) that is briefly visible on the scopes. That's both not big and long enough to lock onto. Because space is fucking big. By the time you think you have a firing solution, Chang has fully cloaked AND moved at roughly 0.25 c to a different location.

Imagine what kind of utter devastation Basedway could have unleashed if the Voyager could fire while cloaked...

Oh! THAT is the debate we need to be having...

FMK the different Janeways. You have classic/prime Janeway (sfdebris psycho Janeway is allowed here). Future Janeways, alternate histories Janeways, Year of Hell janeways, fan fiction Janeways (the episode about history staring the doctor, or the doc's various writings)...

If we allow comics there is Mirror Universe Janeway too.

Kirk is the only one who ever made those Spartacus episodes look cool.

Worf beating the shit out of his prison guards was alright. That at least made sense. Every other show it's like you have violated our sacred customs, now you must engage in ritual combat.

Heh, but the one problem with the Rock vs Seven fight is that the story literally had it as MMA/wrestling matches for money.

Then she got to beat up Worf's brother.

I think that last picture shows why no one wants to watch an episode where Archer fights or has sex, just look at that expression.

Same energy.

I still want that President Archer-series, like seriously.

Basedway is all Janeways rolled into one.

Imagine being a woman and looking up and seeing that face inches from your own?
Is Archer the only captain who never gets his dick wet? Neelix got more action than he did.

It does not count if it happened in the evil universe.

I checked the wiki. In the fourth season he has a one-episode fling with....Hernandez.
