Yeah, but have you considered something something old white men something something Starfleet is virtually the alt-right?
The thought of that thought even occurring to literally anyone who watches Star Trek and knows anything about Roddenberry literally destroys my brain, it's so insanely retarded that I just can't even.

Ridiculous and stupid are far too generous as descriptors.

When's the last time we saw an Admiral who is male? Apart from Marcus, they've all been bitter middle-aged women.
She was "Too Borg" for the tastes of the stuffy federation.
I am fully invested in her girlboss arc

WTF. Even in Voyager by season 7 her "borg-ness" was fading and fading quickly.

She had 3 years experience, and Janeway of all people(who is noted to be cozy with the Admirals) to vouch for her.

That is so fucking retarded I can't even-no, if Seven wanted to formally join SF she'd have been let in the door with barely a question asked.
It makes zero sense with even the slightest pass of consideration. It's as if everyone in Voyager just evaporated into thin air, probably because nobody writing for Seven ever watched the show, they just knew she was super popular and well loved and had their own crazy ideas about how to exaggerate all her 'feminist icon' qualities. It's amusing because there was much debate going into the end of Voyager and afterwards about how the EMH would be treated by the Federation because he's essentially a random medical hologram clone that wants to be treated exactly like an individual human - Seven not being accepted wasn't even considered, because that idea is so absurd that even Picard s1 didn't consider it.

Isn't that the EMH in control of Seven via her implant in that image?

Doesn't he specifically have a romantic interest or partner who's a woman in the novels? They're questionably canon and instantly blasted into noncanon the moment something like Star Trek Online says otherwise, but still.
He's obviously interested in a fellow female cardassian operative in "A Stitch in Time", but novels are uncanon (and so is STO btw).

I suspect that the entire writer’s room has maybe watched five hours tops of all the Berman era trek-much less watched any of voyager or DS9.

It’s just ridiculous given that both shows were on Netflix(DS9 still is as is TNG).

But the writers are a collection of axe grinding SJWs and disinterested hacks who apparently think referencing Jan 6th is good writing.

(Apparently they did reference the boomer tour directly, as some horrible atrocity).

Speaking about the way they wrote Seven in this season of Picard, if Starfleet didn't want to do anything with her after the Voyager came home, then how come Icheb was wearing a Starfleet uniform when nuSeven killed him in Picard S1?
Also about the finale: Why was Raffi on the bridge of the Stargazer and not on the bridge of HER OWN ship?

Asking sensible questions, are you an alt right chud, you must hate minorities and strong women!

They let fucking Icheb in, so yeah, Seven would be graciously welcomed in.

Yes, it's Star Trek's fault Patrick Stewart was fucking the actress who played Vash

She doesn't serve good, she doesn't serve bad. She serves only herself!

I know this is TNG and the women were under-utilized, but: I don't get why Q is even slightly thirsty for Vash. (...oh yeah, I'd almost forgotten that Q wanted Janeway for his mate.)
