The cast did a good job pretending to get along until Gene died. Then everybody's tell-all books came out. Although I've heard Takei has been telling tall-tales about Shatner for ages on the convention circuit for cheap laughs. As the decades went by, the tales got more nasty and vindictive.Takei has been whining about Shatner for six fucking decades.
Matter of dispute. I think Shatner claims he was never invited, but Takei claimed otherwise. But I saw an interview between Shatner and Koenig, and Shatner said he thought the whole Star Trek Wedding was offputting-- that Takei should be inviting actual friends instead of actors he worked with from decades ago.Didn't Takei not invite Shatner to his wedding in 2008 if I'm not mistaken
Well in all Fairness that's really the only thing Takei has going for him for decades. The dude was in a lot of stuff for many decades but his most famous role is Sulu. Unless your my dad and remember him for that movie he did with John Wayne in the 60s. But even than that's probably because my dad is a fan of John Wayne and Star Trek. The cast did a good job pretending to get along until Gene died. Then everybody's tell-all books came out. I imagine everyone he personally knows is sick to death of hearing about internment camps.Well in all Fairness that's really the only thing Takei has going for him for decades. I get what Shatner means through since they all acted in a show together from the 1960s that just happens to have a culture impact. But it sounds like the cast weren't really that good friends that they pretended to be when Gene was alive. I mean it's clear the only reason people consider the cast "friends" is because the show was so popular which lead to the movies. Honestly Shatner was just keeping it real from what it sounds.
I'm not shocked that Takei didn't have a lot of actual friends to invite to his wedding. Considering from what I seen of the guy. He comes off as a giant asshole. I will always love his work. But yeah dude comes off like someone I would not want to hang out with.
And the fact that he still surpports the party who put him into those camps. I mean it's not like the democrat party disown FDR. They still praise FDR today. So I wouldn't blame those people.I imagine everyone he personally knows is sick to death of hearing about internment camps.
I think you mean a corset. But then I don't expect many Trek fans to know anything about women's clothing, kekMr. Shatner, if you're here; Tell us if you really wore a garter and hair piece on Trek.
Yes. I heard people defend it with, "Well, dying was always Data's dream, to be more human."I am surprised people are not more angry about what they did to Data,
He was created to celebrate life and its diversity. And ended up as propaganda for assisted suicide,
More people would care but no one watched Nemesis and even fewer have watched Picard.I am surprised people are not more angry about what they did to Data,

Giving shits about Data had been an exercise in futility since Generations gave us Wacky DataI am surprised people are not more angry about what they did to Data,

Data is Canada...?I am surprised people are not more angry about what they did to Data,

There's nothing anyone can do to salvage the franchise.I stopped caring about what NuTrek does a long time ago.
Stewart and Spiner's collective egos ruined those movies with all their demands. They both wanted to do "rEaL aCTiNg" in Generations, so in go the emotional Data and dead family Picard storylines to appease them.Giving shits about Data had been an exercise in futility since Generations gave us Wacky Data
tbf the movies probably would have sucked anywaysStewart and Spiner's collective egos ruined those movies with all their demands. They both wanted to do "rEaL aCTiNg" in Generations, so in go the emotional Data and dead family Picard storylines to appease them.

Tpol is the Abby Shapiro of the Trek world. How can you be anti-vulcanic when vulcan milkers like that exist?
This practice is highly illogicalI volunteer to be the first human to teach her what motor boating is.
Ok lets try this. Let me play your ass like a bongo. This practice is highly illogical
