In fairness, the Federation didn't cause Antifa to conquer Turkana IV; the colonists allowed Antifa to exist as an internal matter and that's how they got rape gangs. Much like how Portland citizens let Antifa run their government. You see, Tasha Yar's planet didn't accept the tenets of the Federation Utopia so they had to be punished. The people of the Alpha quadrant have two choices: Become a Federation NPC or have your planet over run with rape gangs. The only difference between the UFP and the Borg is that the Borg don't smile when they assimilate you.
Space Sweeden. The only thing I remember about Tasha Yar is the fact that she talked about the rape gangs in her home planet about 10 times per episode.
Didn't she play Moogie on DS9 one time?Nurse Chapel was Troi's mom and the computer's voice.

I still don't, she's got the face of prerolled dough with a very unflattering boy haircut. Lesbian af and not the good lipstick kind.I never understood the fandom's fixation of Yar. She didn't even last a full season.
Then I went through puberty. I saw her nudes. I had a girlfriend that looked like her in high school.
I see Tasha differently now, needless to say. It's a shame she left the show. I would have rather seen Wesley or Troi killed off.
No. That was Andrea MartinDidn't she play Moogie on DS9 one time?
Try the movie Berserker to get a quick glimpse.I once saw someone say you just know she's hiding an absolute unit of an 80s bush beneath that suit and I think about that every time I see her

Yeah it would've made more sense for Tasha to stay behind as lesbian warrior queen of the Amazons, hater of all men due to the consent-accident hug squads, whom Riker must tame with his dong. Maybe she'd make that poison sticks deathmatch space Africa planet episode a little better too. And how was that society spacefaring?I still don't, she's got the face of prerolled dough with a very unflattering boy haircut. Lesbian af and not the good lipstick kind.
Beth Toussaint who played Yars sister on the other hand, she should've been cast instead.

As they once said on Family Guy: "Like a blacksmith's apron."I once saw someone say you just know she's hiding an absolute unit of an 80s bush beneath that suit and I think about that every time I see her

I haven't watched the second season. The first season was like TOS in that it was episodic and the plots and sci-fi devices were pretty good, but the characterization was way off. Everyone was snarky and made quips like MCU characters in between having emotional meltdowns. I assume the second season is much the same. I'm not in a rush to watch it. The first season was a breath of fresh air at the time because it was actual episodic science fiction, but now that we had Picard Season 3, it looks like shit. This is the series coping Paramount+ subscribers keep trying to tell me is just like classic TOS Trek?
