There's a lot of words I could use to describe Harry Kim, but nubile certainly isn't one of them.
He tried packing on the pounds to make Janeway lose interest in him.

Sadly it just unlocked her latent feeder fetish and she subsequently attached chains to his manboobs using previously installed nipple rings to use as pegging reins

Torchwood was the first red flag that Davies (and Chibnall lol) had lost the plot. This was supposed to be the gritty, mature Doctor Who spinoff while the Sarah Jane Adventures was for kids. And somehow, the show for twelve-year-olds had more coherent writing.

Everyone in Torchwood acts like a horny grad student doing improv after a breakup. It’s just wall-to-wall whining with zero taste. I wish I could describe it more elegantly, but that’s really the thesis.
Insneed, I have repeatedly driven threads off the rails over the years with barely prompted tangents on how and why I think Torchwood fucking sucks and foreshadows the still ongoing nadir of NuWho. Its one of the few things to have annoyed me enough in its own right beyond any subjective or objective shittiness of quality that even years/decades after exposure I will still have to restrain myself from vomiting out an essay as to why I hate it, which puts it in the same illustrious company as the Crossed comics, the Hobbit movies and LAWD DEM RAAAAAANGZ OF POWAH, and the accursed BBC adaptation of Terry Pratchet's The Watch books.

With regards to trek, while STD is infamously full to the brim with absolute fucking cringecancer in so very many horrible ways, when I think to myself "what shit from Trek has vexed your nigger ass more than anything else ever?" there can only ever be one answer...

All of Kurtzman's legion of writing room darkness....all the lack of shaniqua talent Paramount could afford...all the currentyear woke blah blah fuckin blah shit that could be crowbarred in...none of that broke me as much as simply giving Patrick Stewart free rein to do what he wants. The only thing from STD that even comes close is Michelle Yeoh's Girlboss Space Hitler

Vodka as the reason for the mind control probably would have been more logical.
Yeah but he probably would have gone full slav liquor captain and shot a phaser through the hull:

Still would have been better than what we got at least. Plus its something I could actually see chekov or his relatives doing

You must have had some wormhole alien temporal bullshit happen because this never occurred, it did noT happeN, child.
I was there Wopdalf....I was there four thousand years ago...

It pissed me off so fucking much I pirate viewed and wrote live reactions to each episode from page 19 onwards order to write ever more schizophrenic textwalls on how much pain it caused me and how much it violated the original books. I legit think I might have been the only nigga on the internet who cared enough about that shit to do so.

As I outlined before, there is shit that is bad which I can kinda take a clinical view on and even find amusement or fascination in how fucking bad it is.....and then there is shit which is bad which actively bothers me that something so insufferable and wretchedly stupid or pointless or scumfuck minded could exist

The Q Continuum is having a civil war, so everyone is dressed like it's the American Civil War. Get it?

I gave that a pass because it was already established in the previous Q episode that this was just a way of interpreting the Continuum in a way that a simple organism like a Human could grasp. A sort of perception filter.
Yeah I get what they were going for, I just don't think it worked particularly well. The episode was also kind of dumb outside of making the Q less interesting.

Anyway, I should get to 7 of 9 by tomorrow.

They really thought every single Q loved cosplaying as old soldiers, even though as far back as "Encounter at Farpoint", our Q changed costumes to mock humanity's militaristic past. It's the whole reason why Q usually wears a Starfleet uniform when visiting Picard. I've mentioned this before, but even the Picard show better understood Q, he made himself look older just to "match" Picard.

Does that include when Q and Q did it right in front of Janeway at the end?

Like, is Q sex just so intense and wild that humans can't even comprehend the foreplay, let alone the actual sex, so they have to tone it down for humans to see?

Seen in today's Best of the Worst Halloween special:

Btw that's Star Trek into Darkness's release date.

It’s funny, nobody talks about the Abramsverse anymore. Like it never happened. Especially Into Darkness. I remember being there, opening weekend, I remember the forums and live threads. And now nothing. Because Abrams got exposed and the audience got exposed along with him. Whole thing turned out to be mass delusion, an Emperor’s New Clothes treatment.
And of course they couldn't have the rebel Q be the South so they're the Union, with the status quo Q as the rebels instead.
Jonathan Frakes was in that half remembered North and South miniseries back in the Reagan era. Was that the line of thinking? I guess not.

Q fighting Harve Presnell in a civil war reenactment... They could’ve made him a French revolutionary, a Boston tea-thrower, but no, they went with the most on-the-nose “Civil War” because they assume the audience has the literacy of a dog. They didn’t even bother to give Lady Q or Janeway some corsets to get their tits out. Nothing!

What if the Borg developed some sort of airborne nanoprobes, meaning a humanoid could then get assimilated just by breathing those in?

That was literally a plot point in an episode. The borg queen is consulting 7 because she wants to do that to earth.

Does that include when Q and Q did it right in front of Janeway at the end?

Funny to think that the same actress is responsible for both Worf's kid and Q's.

The writing room being infested with period drama fangirls was truly one of the more bizarre millstones hanging around VOY's neck

I mean it is infinitely preferable than what would later happen with STD's writing room being infested with (among many...many other things) CW fangirls, but still it just strikes me as such a weird tangent the franchise took for a while
