I can at least buy the race surviving another generation or two if there are colonies in space like Babylon 5's Markab, but this is several centuries since the war wiped out most of the race.
It depends on the colony and the population size. If the colony haves a large enough population and technological level; the species can survive if no one comes along and decides to finished them off.

This sums up every halfway attractive woman in the show:

That's the thing with [current year] Trek and streaming shows, they go out of their way to cast to most ugly and out of shape actors possible.

I'll take one for the team and screenshot the most retarded shit every Thursday.
Thanks, Boss.

Ok I've seen the first episode because free on YouTube. I did not realize how bad Kurtzman had fucked Trek. I'm just going to say it, the only remotely likeable character was the EMH Doctor. Everyone else was cookie cutter and forgettable. I would go so far as to say the Kelvin movies were better, because at least they were stuck in a set time frame with characters with already defined personalities. With this you get way too many holographic screens, all the lens flare of JJ Abrams, but none of the people you actually gave a shit about. It's fucking soulless trash.

Also the run time. Yes a pilot episode I'd normally longer. I assume however that each episode is not strictly hitting that 45 minute timer like old Trek. This is ppainful because it allows shit to drag on far too fucking long, and these "characters" just can't carry the story.

He outlasted J.J. Abrams, which is absurd. He even outlasted Eli Roth who is like the horror equivalent.

Thing is he got started in places like the Transformers movies. Then after getting passed around in the blunt rotation, torching multiple franchises, he gets a odd fascination with Star Trek after working on the Abrams movies, just now he's in full control. I hate this nigger, so much. For a decade I haven't watched nu trek, and now that I've seen 1 episode, I see why. Kurtsman, at best, can work when he's being directed by someone else. On his own he's a fucking retard.

Isn't Starfleet and humanity mostly secular?
In Nutrek, "secular" just means hostility towards Christianity. Witch doctors and desert pedophile worshipers are still a heckin' valid part of the enlightened future. IDIC, except you, you white bigot!

"Criticism from a place of love"? The absolute fucking nerve on this guy.

This cultural vandal hated what Star Trek was, and so he permanently crippled the franchise. He's driven away one of the worlds most dedicated fanbases by producing a decade's worth of legitimately godawful shows that only a miniscule audience of Reddit faggots and content-desperate low-IQ consoomers will watch. God I hate him.

It is sad. Trek has been going on for 60 years now. A haven for the nerd. Now look at it. All that remains are old reruns that newer generations probably won't see. All the care and love from decades past is up in smoke due to poor executive decisions and letting one man trash a franchise with fans that didn't ask for all that much in return.

Mike and Rich just mentioned in their DS9 video that the there is a new (npi) generation of young people, specifically mentioned reactors, who were watching old movies and they've been watching the Trek movies, and for that, they had first to watch the shows. They said that there are new people, young people, interested on Trek, but they are choosing the old stuff. They felt a bit hopeful.

I don't think STA is available in my country to watch... first time that living in the third world is a blessing.

Well I hope so. I was glad I grew up with it. My dad was into it, I saw the movies, and I eventually saw the shows. There is so much entertainment just waiting there but it feels like most people will miss it. I hope younger zoomers watch the older series. I think they'll like them.

Oh sweet Jesus that was some of the most cringy gen. z dialogue I've ever heard in Star Trek. Thank God this is the final Kurtzman Trek and I'm really glad that people are personally criticizing him he should be taking it personally.

Okay, Federation cops torture people for no reason in the 32nd know. Good to know that utopia has been completely fucked up.
He's been told a thousand times that people don't care about enhanced interrogation in space. It's a very specific thing which only he wants to see.

It's why I feel that Amazon Prime is the best streaming service overall. Yeah, sure, Rings of Power is garbage, but they mostly have older shows like Night Court and Fraiser and Perry Mason. Netflix is second when it comes to having 20th century entertainment in that I find less choices, but more Netflix originals, which I find mixed overall.

I would say piracy is the best, but I'm using a smart TV for living room viewings, not the PC.

He has the most punchable face I've ever seen.
I know those on the Woke Left take immense pleasure in breaking our toys and hurting us, so I try not to give them that satisfaction. I just refuse to watch any of their crap. I don't even bother pirating it.
